Everyone needs a companion, someone who will hold our hand while walking on the various paths of life, someone who will understand our silence and who will take care of us when we are at our worst - a companion for life ...
Parents dedicate all their lives to their kids thinking that when they get old, their kids will hold their hands and would walk with them - would understand their unspoken needs just like they did ... But us kids, we often take their love for granted and believe that whatever they did was their duty - but then don't the kids have any sort of duties towards their parents? Shouldn't the kids too care for their parents' happiness? Are all the duties just for the parents while the kids enjoy their rights?
We work day and night to make our lives beautiful, grand and everyday climb the steps towards success while also moulding a wonderful life for our kids but just for a moment let's pause and turn back to see our parents who stand there far behind;lonely yet smile at our success ... But we never do that and keep walking ahead while they try to catch up with us and day after day start losing hope of seeing us turn around towards them ...
But Vaidehi Chakraborty and Vanraj Bose after dedicating their lives to their kids and getting in return just sadness and loneliness - decided to live for themselves, to do what their hearts desired and became each other's companions but how would their kids react to this development in their parents' life? Would they be able to accept it or become the barriers towards their happiness? When the kids have all the rights to take decisions of their lives then why not the parents? Is the role of the parents only confined to the family photographs and nothing else? If they have the duties then why shouldn't they have their rights?
All the questions will be answered in the second journey of Vaidehi and Vanraj where they filled emptiness in their lives with their companionship and became each other's Humsafar ...
