Doubt is just that- not being able to see beyond the CVs!LOL! So, dear, keep your "faith' in kanha- all will be well!LOL! even if it does take 6 months in serial time.

Loved your explanation, in this context with the meaning of saavare ke rang raachi---completely immersed in the divine love of the beloved-- and as Krishna--it is easy to understand the concept of eternal love of Dev towards Radhika ---but will Dev become Krishna, in terms of his actions towards the others?...Ram is a doer and Krishna is a teacher, one who teaches others to follow the dharma---so will CB show us this aspect of Krishna too???

Thanks blokes, for this beautiful thread and others for the great discussion...

radhika5- lovely points. ram is a doer, krishna a teacher: both ram and krishna were doers. They acted all their lives. Ram performed his actions as prescribed by Dharma while Krishna knew they were all part of a "play" of Maya. So, to call Krishna a teacher and imply that he did not act, that is erroneous. Krishna is a very subtle character. He cannot be understood by us who think this world to be very real and get serious about everything. For Krishna, he left behind Gokul and never turned back and weeped for his gopis. He took each of life's challenges in the present and kept proceeding ahead.

Now, coming to Dev and Rads, here, the 12 year devotion of rads towards her "husband" shows her shradda (commitment) and saburi (patience) towards that connection she felt with her dear friend. It is to be noted that all the vows in the Hindu marriage is taken with a "friend" (sakhi)- not beloved.

Love has no proof and the ultimate test for dev will be that- recognizing that how much ever he is determined to accept rads as his "brother's wife", deep within in his soul, there is a link between the two of them that cannot be denied.

Let us watch and see how this story proceeds.

I am sure the CVs have learned their lessons well from the past. I am certainly being more positive about them doing a better job this time. Kudos to them.

Blokes, great analysis. I've heard that Lord Krishna never loses & if His blessings are with you that person never loses. So,eventually the Krishna in Dev will soon emerge to get back his Radha. Not only Radhika but all the viewers are also waiting to see Lord Ram transferring into Lord Krishna.

certainly, srilanka! I do not doubt that the Krishna will win out in the end! After all the very story line begs it! Keep watching...

You are right--Ram is easy to understand--his actions were more straightforward and he followed the path of dharma--and krishna is lot more complex but subtle--He is a doer--but his actions are more through teaching "dharma" to others and having others follow the path of dharma--like in Mahabharat where he is a teacher of Arjun...

Let us watch and see how this story proceeds.---really looking forward to what happens and how this conflict between Ram and Krishna is resolved and how Dev changes from Ram to Krishna...-----your thread was timed perfectly--today's episode was all about the conflict "following dharma" Vs "being immersed in his love"...
