This real photograph of Queen of Jhansi, Laxmi Bai was taken 159 years ago by a British photographer called Hoffman. This rare photograph was shared recently at an International Photography Exhibition held in Bhopal, by an Ahmedabad based antique collector. Courtsey: IBN

are yaar.😡.kya bol rehi hein..this is not humari maharani...she is an actress..they misplaced the pic...the info is right but the pic is wrong...the origianl pic is available..but some clarification still required..the lady in the pic sems to be more aged..so the debate is going on..is it real rani or not..but anyway..this one is completely fake...hoooare yaar..

There is only and only 1 original photo of Rani Laxmibai and that was the one shown in above links by Lekshmipriya and Payal which was taken by English photographer Hoffman. This photo posted is of some actress many people misunderstand that she's real Laxmibai

this pic is of gangadhar rao which ppl r mistaken of jhansi ki rani...i saw a news feature on it where one of the person claimed this pic is not of lakshmi bai's...

IF IBN 7 is wrong then star news wrong as well...

or may be both of them are FAKE...there is no actual photo existing of the queen

no dear.this one is real as verified by star news.in the picture she is wearing jewellery given to her by bajirao pehwa.a verified news by star news.pls go thru the youtube attachment.as far as gangadhar rao is concerned,the person in the picture is a young lady.one more thing.had any controversies been there with regard to this picture Jhansiwale(the queen's descendents in Indore)would have been the first to react.

so i think we can accept that though after 159 years but we have indeed got the privilidge to have a glimpse of the great soul because of whom today we can breath without taking a firangi's permission
