At the same time, she is trying to pacify husband, Aditya, by planning a romantic honeymoon to Goa. However, things may not turn out to be all hunky-dory on her trip to Goa. We caught up with Priya, who recently shot an episode with Abhishek Bachchan and Rana Daggubati, to find out what we can expect from the upcoming episodes.
Why don't you want Aditya to attend the political rally?
There are lots of reasons but I can't reveal them right now. You will know as the story unfolds.
How aware are you about politics in India?
We have to shoot for hours every day which almost makes it impossible for us to watch news channels or anything. But earlier, I would watch news channels, read newspapers and always be updated about the current political affairs in India. Now, I rely on my cell-phone for all the news.
What was the toughest scene in the show for you?
Most of the scenes I had were tough. Priya is a very tough and complex character. Sometimes, she is angry, sometimes happy and sometimes frustrated. However, the toughest scene I had was with Brahamanand, where I had to show my anger and sadness to him. He is a very experienced actor, so to I have to match his experience.
What do you like the most about Goa?
I love everything about Goa. I am a complete beach person. I love to go to nice and clean beaches and have a good swim.
Since Aditya is upset with you, how do you plan on pacifying him?
With love as I feel love is the solution for all your problems in life. In the end, all that matters in life is our ability to love people. If you reciprocate with love to everything in your life, your future will blossom with the flowers of love.
What advice you want to give to the young couples who had similar love tiffs?
Be strong and believe in yourself and do not lose hope. All that matters is self-confidence. Without confidence, you can't do anything. So find strength within yourself and prepare yourself for tough times.
Are you excited to meet Inspector Kamat aka Abhishek Bachchan? How has it been interacting with him?
It is a nice thing to have him shoot with us. Be it any Bollywood actor, it's always nice when they come on television. It makes me think how the big the television industry has become.
Which films of Abhishek have you enjoyed and why?
There are many actually. Bluffmaster, Guru and Bunty Aur Babli are few of my favourites. I loved the genre and the amazing chemistry in all these movies.
What do you like about Aditya as husband?
He is very loving and loyal. No matter what I do, he loves me unconditionally.
Any advice for people who attend rave parties?
I do not attend them so I don't have any comment on them.
What do you think of Goa as a party destination?
I think Goa has an amazing crowd. Its one of the best places to party which is why we are here too.
How has it been to groove to the hit song Dum Maro Dum?
I haven't got an opportunity so far to really dance to the song. But of course, the songs of the movie are peppy. The title track is one classic song.
What is the ideal outfit you would suggest for such a party/get together?
I know it's a very clich thing to say, but still my advice would be don't copy others, be yourself. Your fashion statement lies in yourself. That's what makes one original and fashionable. However, opt for comfort more than the trends.
