Khanak Sasha's tashan

Sasha's arrival in STAR One's prime time show Rang Badalti Odhani has created a chaos in the Khandelwal household. After the initial bickering and bantering, the new twist in this tale is that there's going to be a full-on war between Sasha and Khanak.

They will fight and defend their corners, the east and west respectively. This will lead to a grand tashan taking place and the Khandelwals being stuck in the middle.

A STAR One.in source informs, "Competing with each other, Khanak held the Mata Ki Chowki while Sasha had a grand party. Now, they will get into yet another competition. This time, it will be about food. Is western food better or Indian? Khanak will prepare desi food for Sasha. She will make some famous Gujarati dishes, in spite of knowing that Sasha isn't fond of them. This will lead to another tiff between the two, which will be seen in episodes this week. Khanak will talk about the importance of food cooked at home vis--vis canned food. Sasha will counter the logic with her own theories. This war will be a very interesting watch for the audiences."

Khanak aka Yashashri Masurkar explains her stand, "In our culture, we believe that 'Atithi devo bhava', meaning 'Guests are God'. I would like to truly welcome Sasha to our home, but I don't like the way she looks down on our culture and people. I am going to prove the importance of our culture, Indians and our desi food to her. Sasha has a great personality, but she has forgotten that she belongs to this beautiful country. I want to win not only this battle of wits, but also her heart. I want to re-introduce her to poojas, rituals, traditions, and the variety of cuisines in our country. I want to win her heart by my simplicity."

Sasha aka Manini Mishra too had her say, "Khanak has come from a village and doesn't know English or how to use a fork and knife, yet she dares to challenge me?!! I want the audiences to watch the sequences between the two of us, which will be good fun. There is no negativity in the track, but a clean tussle between the east and the west."
