Recently, we had reported that Aishwarya Rai will be walking the red carpet with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan at the Cannes film fest. But now, news has it that Ash will not have her hubby by her side.

Aishwarya and Abhishek, as a couple walked the red carpet together for the first time in 2007. Even last year, the duo were in Cannes, to promote their film Raavan.

However, this year, Abhi will have to skip Cannes as he will be busy shooting in Russia for Abbas-Mustan's Players.

This 64th Cannes Film Festival will be held from 11th May to 22nd May 2011. Ash, being the brand ambassador for L'oreal, will be walking the red carpet for the 10th consecutive time.
A proud Abhishek said, "I am very proud of her. I think she is the only Indian actress to have that."

Buzz also has it that not just the film fest, but, Abhi will also miss their fourth wedding anniversary on April 20th due to a packed schedule.

It doesn't matter. Its not like anyone cares.
