My comments on Tumhari Disha - 6th June '05
The D Day has finally arrived. The day of the shaadi. A minor twist.(Sum getting one of her attacks).
When Inder speaks to Dish telling her that she does not want this marriage Dish closes her eyer and thinks only of DK. Am sure Inder will do everything to stop the marriage and if he does that then am dedicating my next take to apna Inder only.
It was shown yesterday that Pori loves Ved and only Ved. Poor girl was very sad that Ved is now going to get married to another person. Sum asks her to apply tika to him as a bhabhi and she thinks back on their rain scene. FInally gestures him to move out and says that he is going to become a stranger to them now. But Ved replies that whatever happens he will remain the son of Sum and hence never a stranger (i guess he means that she will be his bhabhi now and hence a relation is anyways made b/w them).
For a change looked like DK is ready to take over the world for Dish. but DK being mommy dear's DK he does his flip flop act once again. One moment he was ready to take on the world and immly the next moment he rushes off. It looked like even Dish would meet him and something wud happen. But no. Pori used her brains. She put the fone on speaker mode. and unaware DK as usual speaks with Pori in his 'don't mess with me' mode and Sum faints.
According to me yesterday's cameo performance was better than kareena's. It looked more natural to me and also Kavitha Raizada (from the serial Sindoor for the uninititated) was present for a longer screen time. Also they had nicely incorporated the DK-Dish staring session being noticed by Kavita. (For ppl wondering who called Kavita then was a scene Incorporated in sindoor yesterday where Suhas invites Kavita over the fone for Dish's marriage). I would rate this cameo more than Kareena's.
Acting wise my choice for yesterday would be Kavita Kaushik aka Pori. She had nicely brought out her emotions that she actually loved Ved but then money is making her marry DK but then she will get back Ved at any cost.
looks like what spark told would remain a prediction. Its already the day of marriage and if Sum is sick I really doubt if she is going to clean the cupboards before marriage. Unless of course something happens with divine intervention (say a dog drops in the file in Sum's hands but we don't have any nice dog in td) and Sum happens to see the reqd file before its too late.
Sanya is slowly taking over old Pori/Gargi's place. Her makeup is generally over the top now with some shiny glossy red lipstick. Her sindoor is adorned with small shiny silver bindis. Dish was looking nice yesterday in her bridal dress. She did not wear any elaborate jewellery. Ved was in a black (semi dazzling) sherwani. Dk was still in his usual shirt (kind of purple shade i guess. don't remember) and Pori was draped in the typical bengali sari. Sum was in light blue plain sari while Suhas was wearing light olive green self design simple sari.
Finally Thanks sree for the quickie detailed update.
QUESTIONS
- If the marriage is happening ( as we see from the promos) then at what point will the shooting take place ?
- Who will get hit ?
- What will happen to Dish and the one who got hit afterwards ?
- Will the pheras and sindoor pradaan rituals take place for both couples ?
- Is Sum really sick ?
