Britian's Got Talent - Season 5

So, here we go !!! 🥳

The fifth series of Britain's Got Talent is due to begin on 16 April 2011. The show will continue to be hosted by Ant & Dec, while Stephen Mulhern will once again host Britain's Got More Talent.

For the first time since Britain's Got Talent began, there has been a permanent change to the judging panel. In October 2010, Piers Morgan announced he was leaving due to hosting his new show Piers Morgan Tonight in the United States and he was unable to do both.^[1] In December 2010, Simon Cowell confirmed that he would only be present at the live shows as he would be busy launching The X Factor in the US. Therefore, David Hasselhoff (previously a judge on America's Got Talent) and Michael Mcintyre were added to the panel.^[2] There were also guest judges planned for the auditions due to the success of the guest judges onThe X Factor but no guest judges appeared during the auditions.^[3] Hasselhoff was unable to attend the London Auditions so Louis Walsh took his place.^[4]

The reason why Susan Boyle made it big was because of her background. The fact that she was a church singer who isn't exactly very young and neither that good looking and yet has so much talent is what made her such a huge hit.

Yeah, that's what I am saying. She wasn't really the typical type of 'modern singer'...that's what made her go places. But she surely is an inspiration to lot of people out there ! It was one of the best moments of the show ! I heard that "Diversity" had prepared a congratulation speech for her, on the finals day. Too bad (in the nicest possible way) they couldn't use it 😆

Btw, what about Simon ? Heard he is only going to judge the "live" shows..what should that mean ?
