pratigya is a strong woman who has the courage to fight injustice......she has done everything possible to fight evils.......
1.Angad yadav misbehaved with her in the train when she was coming back to her home town,allahabad...she slapped him... as a result angad n his friends were made to say sorry to her
2.she married krishna to take revenge.....she did not fear.....but then she realised that krishna's love was pure n even pratigya started loving him
3.pratigya told entire family that kesar had become pragnant four times in the past n it was shakti who forced kesar to get the child aborted.....she stopped shakti from doing this the fifth time by telling the truth to thakurs
4.she did not let angad yadav blackmail her father.....she told everyone that it was angad who kidnapped her
5.pratigya knew that she was pure n angad hadnt done anything wrong with her.....she did not keep quiet when her in laws used to taunt her for staying with a stranger all night.....she was quite firm n gave all answers to their questions
6.she did not allow her named to be changed after marriage......she is proud of the name her father n mother have given her
7.she filed a complaint along with kesar when kesar was beaten badly by her husband n MIL.....she succeeded in sending them to jail....though kesar later changed her statement...but pratigya was not at fault here
8.pratigya saved kesar from being burried alive by shakti.....she has always supported kesar
9.she tried everything to expose aman but he outsmarted her.....she never accepted arushi n shakti's marriage as it was illegal......
10.she refused to touch arushi's feet as she knew that their marriage was illegal n arushi was not legally wedded to shakti
11.after arushi realised her mistake pratigya supported her n helped her get out of the thakur house
12.pratigya knew very well that kesar mai was doing a drama of drinking poison....so she did not stop her from doing so.....this shows that pratigya is smart.....
she is verrrrrrrrrrry different from other bahus on tv......not sared of anyone....never afraid of speaking her mind......she symbolises today's woman.....
