Clueless: Pallavi Kulkarni No comments: Nikkhil Arya Aroona Irani's forthcoming weekly show, Mehendi Rang Layegi (to air on Sony from next month) will mark the return of Pallavi Kulkarni (Kehta Hai Dil) to the small screen. Except for a few endorsements, Pallavi had not taken up any assignments for almost a year. Positive guy Irani is planning a casting coup. She has asked Pallavi's ex-flame Nikkhil Arya to play a pivotal role in it. Says Arya, "I have been told that I will be the positive guy in Pallavi's life." Will he be comfortable working with Pallavi? "No comments," he replies. While Pallavi has started shooting, Nikkhil is unsure "I have said yes to Aroonaji, but I am yet to sign" he explains. Central role What is Pallavi's role? "I play Vaidehi, the central character, who is from a middle-class family," says the actress. "She is married into a strange family; they treat her badly." Is she okay with Nikkhil being in the show? "I have no clue if he has been offered any role," claims Pallavi. Flashback Pallavi was the second girl in Nikkhil's life. Earlier, he was seeing Gurdeep Kohli. Pallavi and Gurdeep had done Aaj Ki Atit together. Gurdeep introduced Nikkhil to Pallavi. By then, Gurdeep and Nikkhil broke up. Later on, Nikkhil and Pallavi started dating. She wanted marriage. Nikkhil refused as he still had to settle down in his career. The couple then broke up.

Aapka samay samapt hota hai: Mandira bedi Mandira Bedi is out of Sony's Deal Ya No Deal. Brought in as R Madhavan's replacement in January this year, Bedi will not host the show any more. The show too is undergoing changes, and will move from a daily to a weekly slot. Bedi has already shot her last episode for the show; but viewers will continue to see her for some time, as the channel has a bank of episodes that will run till April end. Auditions on Sony's Anupama Mandloi (vice-president, programming) clarified that it was simply Mandy they were biding adieu to and the show would go on. The channel is looking at new anchors to replace Bedi. Says a source, "Auditions for the anchor began in mid-March." But why is Bedi, who came in only two-and-a-half months back, being replaced? "Mandira is our main presenter on Extraaa Innings, on Set Max. From June, we will need her for that purpose. Inside story Adds a source, "Sony's attempt at improving ratings by changing the anchor from Madhavan to Mandira helped to some extent, but did not meet expectations. This led to another anchor change and the switch from a daily to a weekly format. The start, which is very important in every television show, was wrong. Madhavan did not register with the masses. It wouldn't have been wrong if they had started with Mandira." Madhavan's exit R Madhavan felt the show had taken over all his time. Initially, he was told that he would be required for only six days of shooting a month. But, he was pressed to give more time, which affected his other projects.

hmmmmmm...so yes, i guess this show will replace jjkn and the show starring aashka goradia and sudhanshu oandey will replace CID special bureau....

What channel is the show on? I was suppose to watch nimmo!? 😆 i havent watched aisa desh... but the promos just look so stupid, so i dont even want to see it 🤢

aisa desh is on sony...9-9:30..and sudhanshu is one of the guys in the band of boys...mm too is a part of it....i think sudhanshu quit the BoB...i am not sure😕
