Where do Kesar's loyalty's lie?

I think going by recent epi's that kesar is back in telesgra with a purpose. What that purpose is I'm not so sure but I'll take wild shot, and guess that's it's something to with getting revenge/justice for vasant.
The interesting point of the show for me would be not only how he plans to do this, but will he actually go through with his plans if it involves hurting gulaal?
To me Kesar is a very confused young man, he revered and adored vasant, in fact I'll go as far to say he almost worshipped him. In short he would have done anything for him.
Note that on both separate occasions post vasant's death that gulaal and dushyant asked kesar 'do you trust me?', he answered them both by saying 'as much as vasant bhai'.
So how traumatic would it have been for him as a young child, to realize that the only two people he gave the honor of trusting as much as his beloved brother, were the two people accused of murdering that god-like brother?

What I find interesting is how child kesar treated both dushyant and gulaal after vasants death. When he needed protection physically he ran for comfort and support to dushyant. Like when he was beaten by those boys at school. He trusted and followed dushyants, (can't remember but I think he ignored gulaal's advice over dushyant's on that occasion) advice and got into a fight.
Then there was the time when that stall-holder was threatening him he warned him 'don't mess with me because you don't know who I am! Mai Dushyant ki bhai hai!'
When the 'non-manly' (ok these are probably according to dushyant!) things to do he went to gulaal, such as consulting her over his fear of the darkness, wanting to know what certain words and customs were, and when he wanted training for his play and sports day.

All the above are times when he originally would have consulted or gone to vasant, so IMO gulaal and dushyant for kesar became almost like two separate sides of vasant. I think he was subconsciously re-placing vasant through gulaal and dushyant.
The truth, or more precisely the twisted version he knows of it, destroyed completely, that subconscious thought. He realized that nothing or no one could replace vasant, but more importantly he now felt more alone and distraught, then he was after vasant's death.
He couldn't go to anyone for advice about his feelings and support, motaba was angry with him and wouldn't believe him, paanba/dai ba and devika would think he misunderstood what he heard, giga kaka/jajuna kaki wouldn't want to believe him because dushyant was their son, sudha/reva were too involved with their marriages and talli was too young. Gulaal/dushyant had killed vasant twice for him.

Gulaal's 'marriage' to him added a whole new dimension to their relationship. To some extent I think he was bound unwillingly in it. For instance when he wanted to play that game where talli was his wife, and he was told he couldn't because he already had a wife.
The look on his face showed he really wanted to play this game, but the fact that he might lose gulaal was stopping him. (Btw how sad was that? poor kid couldn't even play a game that all children play as he was scared that by doing so he would lose someone he cared for).
Then when he drank bhaag, he only did it because he was told 'you're married so act like a man now'. He was unwillingly made to grow up, and he was so confused by all this.
Was he man, was he meant not do all these things? Was he meant to do other things that he never considered doing before? He knew little of marriage and manhood yet he was pushed into doing things connected to both.

He was always to some extent attracted to gulaal. During Gulaal/vasant wedding he said 'vasant bhai is marrying the girl I wanted to marry'. There was nothing sexual about his desire for gulaal, then but now that's his older things are clearly changing.
But going back to his childhood days, after vasant's death gulaal was the person he felt closet to. He trusted her, cared for her, respected her, and loved her dearly. His feelings for her ran deep, so deep that even after hearing about her supposed connection to vasant's death, he still couldn't bring himself to stop wanting her in his life. He couldn't hit her, he could be angry and hateful at dushyant, but he couldn't strike out at gulaal.
He watched with longing as she came to visit him at boarding school, but he couldn't face her.

Coming back to the point of my post, I think at the moment kesar is torn between vasant and gulaal? Who comes first for him? Where does his loyalty lie? With his 'wife' or brother?
He wants' I'm sure justice for vasant but what price is willing to pay? Can he actually bring himself too really and I mean really, hurt gulaal?
I honestly think that he does believe that gulaal had a hand in vasants death. After all these reasons of solitude he must gone over all the reasons of why gulaal hasn't had dushyant punished and the one that must make the most sense to him, is the one dushere put forward. If kesar really believes that gulaal and dushyant plotted to kill vasant, so that they could be together, he must wonder why he was brought into the equation. Maybe the fact he doesn't know the answer to that question is what is stopping him from 'exposing' them as murderers.

Also I wonder if the reason he's so aggressive and rude is become that is what dushyant used to be like. Maybe again on a subconscious level, he believes that this is the kind of 'man' gulaal wants. She rejected vasant over dushyant, so as he's drawn and attracted to her, he's going to follow in the footsteps to some extent of the man he believes she's attracted to.

Ultimately, I really do think his actions and plans are going to lead him to make a choice. Vasant or gulaal. To get justice for vasant he must hurt, gulaal. So who will he choose...?
