Ok so, what can I say about today....
I am going to recap the last 2 days with this song, but first the disclaimer...
DO NOT watch this song for the lyrics.... WATCH it for the music (the "tik" that follows the lyrics) and the visualization......
(I have often wondered why Jeetendra, Ekta Kapoor's Dad, did not develop peripheral vascular disease from those tight pants! - never mind, I digress....)

The reason for this song is that Runjhun and Guddu are playing a game of badminton for the last couple of days, the volleys, an occasional defeat, an occasional win.... so amusing to watch, that back and forth, back and forth...
The writers are doing a stupendous job of keeping up with the volleys of the game and I for one am enjoying it tremendously!
Today's episode was to die for. Runjhun stumps Guddu every step of the way. She avoids looking at him directly because he told her not to mess with him yesterday so for the entire episode it is pretty much "ankhon hi ankhon mein ishara ho gaya" without a word exchanged. Yesterday, the verbal part was out, today it is all about looks! Oh, the cat and mouse game!
If yesterday I was ROFL with the verbal sparring, today I was fascinated by the non-verbal... the looks said a thousand words.
And then came the pre-cap that left me roaring with laughter. 20 mins later, I was still laughing while driving to my appt. with my laptop next to me, so I could type away while I am waiting...

Gardes.... where did you dig up this classic from ???? 😆 My sis and I have always laughed our hearts out at the way this song is picturised. And like you said the 'tik' is the master-piece here.

No comments about J's tight pants ... 😆

You are so right, if yesterday was 'verbal' today was 'visual' ....

They didn't exchange a single word !!!

And yesterday we applauded the 'verbal'.... today I'm bowled-over by the 'visual' ....

I lost count of the number of times G looks at R ....

And the range of emotions in his glances ..... truly amazing !

There was .... astonishment / annoyance / embarrassment / disbelief / dismay / concern / irritation ..... and finally after "Darpok Ji" ... the look of pure " I-am-at-the-end-of my-tether" 🤣🤣🤣

Loved R today .... and loved G even more !!!!

All in all this has been a very satisfying week .... hope the CVs keep up the tempo next week too ! 👏 👍🏼

Usha, I am a music buff (mostly oldies) and I could not explain away the volleys each is tossing at the other, so this song came to mind! Isn't it the silliest picturization of the song, yet it is the "tik" that stays with you. Like you mentioned - a classic!
What a treat the last 2 days have been! Runjhun did her part the best way she knows how, but Guddu's range of emotions are hilarious! Amazement stayed with me the most - that slow change just with his eyes. And his self-muttering about how with Runjhun showing up, his khichdi is pak gayi! They both talked to others but never once to each other was so telling in itself!
And Amma running after Kalsanwali was way too funny!

Hey Rach, WELCOME to the forum. Of course I recognized the name right away and know you very well from another forum. 😆 How have you been? Not watching the show where our paths had crossed? Oh well. Caught a teeny bit of Maha Sangam earlier this week after a LONG time and was LOL!
I too happened to come upon this show lately and am loving it. This forum is very nice to be around and the show gets better each day from the previous one! I too am trying to keep up with the earlier episodes and will get there one of these days. Wafah's updates are on time each day and a great start to the day and the episode. I have yet to watch an episode without reading Wafah's updates. More and more people are finding out about the show like you and I and joining in.
Hope to see you around more!

Gardes,
Yup! This is the perfect song that fits for the scenario in the show right now ...
tik - tik tik-tik between these 2.
Or like the ball going from one's court to the other. Guddu kicks the ball, Runjhun kicks the ball back even harder and hit it at the spot where it hurts 😆😉

And ofcourse that was a good observation by you - not a word between these 2 today. Actually we are used to this that we forget such things. These people would have gone without a dialogue to each other but still loads of stuff would have been communicated between them. You need to catch the old episodes to experience that! 😆

@Gardes - 2 sleepless nights and I am caught up 🤣. I even beat you to it if you are still catching up. My first Bhagonvali episode was Tuesdays I think and I am already caught up but I look so bad without sleep🤣. New addiction I guess.
Re the other show where our paths crossed - better to keep mum about how that one went😆. I only watch MIK scenes there but even that is becoming not so fun. But on the bright side I found Bahgonvali which is showing the tracks I sooo wanted to see in the other show. - so I am really excited😆

😆😆 Rach, very impressive that you watched in such a short time. The word seems to be spreading faster than widlfire about this show. 😲😲 The best part is the attention to details and maintaining consistency overall compared to other shows. There is a good mix of drama and funny, so it makes for good entertainment.
I am still downloading and haven't started watching yet, but I had watched some episodes intermittently and read updates with some freuqency, so am aware of the story. May be not the nuances. I will take my time. I am trying to download in mp4 so I can load them as playlists on my ipod and watch a week's worth at a time. Yes, this past week got me addicted alright.
Me too. I have Zee at home but still watch on the computer. It is just easier that ways. And yes, the less said about SSBS, the better off we are. I had a "maksad" for making my presence known on that forum and it worked! 😉
Hope to see you post, now that you are caught up!
