Star One show Geet'Hui Sabse Parayi's lead couple Geet and Maan saw the World Cup semi-final match between India and Pakistanlive at Mohali.

Talking about the experience, Gurmeet Choudhary (Maan) says, "Watching the match live is so much fun and exciting than watching it on TV. The stadium is filled with a huge crowd of fans who are full of energy. While the cricketers play, you cheer together, you crib together, it is like one big family reacting at the same time."

As an ardent fan of the game, he recollects his childhood days when he would just vanish from his house to play cricket and how his dad would come and fetch him, knowing exactly where to find him.

As a player, Gurmeet is better at fielding than bowling. "I am very active at fielding. I have taken martial arts classes and have a black belt, may be that keeps me charged, active and energetic on field," says the actor.

Ask him if he got to meet any cricketers during this trip and Gurmeet quips, " No! I didn't meet any cricketers there. But around four to five years ago when I was modelling for an advertisement, I got a chance to get up, close and personal with Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and several others. I got friendly with Yuvi and we would have lunch together. It was fun."
