Y'day the inter-action between shanthi and BB was good. Shanthi was shrewd to perceive that this BB is hastening up the marriage and there is more to it than meets the eye. She is quite practical, and played her cards quite well and I have a feeling that what happened y'day is not her main motive but something else.

In the light of the above and going by the precap where Dev expresses his decision against the fixed marriage with Chanda, it looks like BB is going to flustered. She has never felt threatened so far. Shanthi was smart enough to get the commitment from BB that if BB had one more son would she have accepted Chanda as her DIL, For me this is a key point.

If BB has to convey Dev's decision not to marry Chanda to Mansa's family will Shanthi call off both the marriages? For the Grand father to become alright Rohan needs to marry and not DEv, so will Shanthi insist that Chanda has to marry Rohan and call off Radhika's marriage knowing fully well that he is Radhika's KK< what will Mansa's reaction be to this? How kindly will Rohan and Padma take the change of bride decision should it happen? So where is this heading? Is it the ulterior motive of Shanthi to see that Chanda is married to the RP boy?

I think her main motive was something else from the moment she heard that the proposal from such a rich family has come for Radhika.........she was completely dumstruck when she heard it from Mansaram and suddenly she wakes up..........(one could even hear the wheels of her brain churning).......and she runs to her birth daughter and shouts in glee and says........this is so good news, do you understand chanda?.......she knows that the only way to get Chanda interested is to make Chanda believe about wealth and she does that , then when she sees Chanda's reaction to Dev she again lights up .....her expression was quite telling and she finds another weakness of Chanda to exploit.....attraction for goodlooking men. If they keep her character constant then she might be working this way. Also when she gets to know that the youngest grandson is kk........for a fraction of a second her reaction changes and she is worried.....because she knows Radhika very well.....she knows that Radhika will not let go off this guy if he is her KK....so now I wonder whether Shanti will show Radhika the right direction?😉.....

Yes ....they have to make Radhika active to get the audience reaction.....

Also, Shanti as a manipulator is much more believable than Maheswari. So Maheswari in her arrogance did something but got hoodwinked by Shanti - a cool manipulator. I remember those expressions of Shanti and hope they are going with that. But Shanti's plans should only be successful if Radhika is party to it. In other words, it should not be Radhika accepting her fate submissively and then Kanha's physical intervention. Kanha should be used as creating situations (bringing Shanti in the mix who wants the best for her daughter) and using Radhika but it backfires on her as Dev is the true heir. But Dev and Radhika have to fight for their rights. So no unwilling switch.

Yes, Shanti as the cool manipulator is believable, Maheshwari is not. Shanti is an expert manipulator and she uses her targets weakness but knows when to switch and also knows how to behave with different people. Yesterday she was not scared of Maheswari but calmly twisted her around her little finger which Maheshwari allowed, even knowng that Shanti is upto something. .Maheshwari can never do that. So if the creatives have decided to bring Shanti out and make her the viilian then for me its a good decision. Personally I believe her pulling the strings, not Maheshwari. As for Kanha, that was CB1, I mean he actively taking part in prtecting Radhika, if they want to make this show different then the leads have to do the main work with the blessings of Kanha..........as you have said Kanha creating situations. Oh Shanti does not want the best for her daughter.......I think she takes Radhika as her competitor for Mansaram's love. Her husband basically does what she tells him to do, the only time he stands upto her is when it concerns Radhika. So that is why she might not want Radhika to have the good things in her life......

They can easily show that Radhika finds out the truth maybe just before the wedding (Shanti's hints have led her to it) and she refuses to marry Rohan. So Maheswari in a fit of rage and desperation orders Chanda to marry Rohan as she has run out of time.
