Hey Friends,
Since past few days i had these questions in my mind - Are we really 200 people?Don't our opinions hold any value?
Most of our forum members including myself have stopped watching LTL since 28th march since we cann't identify with it anymore.Even our daily updaters also watch the episode only when their update is due.We have almost stopped discussing daily epis. in EDT.
I really don't know whether they plan to pair Nakku with new guy or they just want him to help heršŸ˜•,the thing is i really don't CARE.Just the thought of Nakku being with someone other than Dutta in unacceptable.šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼
But, i observed that few people are enjoying the current track & i am happy for them.😊
As they are entitled to their opinions & their likings.
My problem is that yesterday some special person gave as a surprise visitšŸ˜† & his/her comment made me pause & think again - ARE WE REALLY FEW?
When i thought over this question,i realised even though we are FEW,but we are REPRESENTATIVES of crores of people who watch the show.
Our forum members belong to different age groups, different professions, different countries, different languages.
Some are housewives including myself😊,some are students ,some are lawyer,IT professional,Marketing person, working in Hospitals,Working in Hotel industry,& so on.
Moral of the story is we are a group of people who are well educated,or in the process of having higher education & yet the common thread which binds all of us is - FAIRY TALE called LTL & the leads DUTTA & NAKKUšŸ˜
Most important is the platform on which we all are standing united - India-Forums.šŸ‘šŸ¼
So even if that special person thinks we don't matter, but in reality we DO MATTER.
Becaz it is our opinion spoken from IF base & it does affect the TRPS.
Last 3 weeks LTL is below 8 in chaska meter, that also must be affecting the overall credit of show & channel.
Even the colors channel also knows this & that's the reason in last 10 days we have been indirectly hinted by them that MR's exit doesn't matter, the show is doing well & on🄱
The most funny thing is i don't know till date how many people are member of LTL forum & yet someone took the pain of counting just to tell us that we are FEWšŸ˜†
So Cheer up girls,
WE ARE VALUABLE & OUR OPINION DOES AFFECT THE SHOW😃

Whereever viewers are at the end of day they are all humans and share the same emotions. Thats why some events like say cricket can drive people to a frenzy of joy or depression whether they are a Prime Minister or a office-goer. Stuff like movies, serials or sports are escape mechanisms and we all react similarly to them. The same thing touch our lives. Thats why even if we are 200 people we represent the larger audience which follows a show like LTL. A channel has such a fantastic place like IF to get instant feedback on their work. Instead in their arrogance they ignore us thinking some invisible crores will support them. But isnt it better to listen to 100s than be humilated by crores?

So true and well said Pooji....I know of my ppl in my vicinity who where expecting MR will be back as dutta bhau and that this disappearance si just like the one in december a hoax....but the montage shook them and i told them abt MR leaving forever....they stopped watching the show as they felt that nothing else was left without MR...so one member ME was able to take away around SIX-SEVEN of their viewers...in one go...imagine what we 200 can do...COLORS plz think again.

Word! i cant agree more..
We all represent different groups and it was us few who filed a petition signed by 5000+ people.. it was an effort put by one of us. This sould be more than enough to make the channel realize that even if we are 200 people as they think we connect to 20000+ people by some or the other way and that sould be quite a number for them to bring down their ego and TRPs together.šŸ˜†
I suggested this serial to one of my friends and she started watching the show and so did her mother in law.. her mother-in-law got so much attached to Dutta that every time she would ask me when is dutta going to be back (after his accident).. a few days back i told her the whole story that the channel has conned the actor and he would not be seen in the serial again she was despised with the channel and said how could they ruin such a wonderful story.. since then she stopped watching the show.. same i did with my parents and my friends.. they all have stopped watching this crapfest..
see how many people i connect to.. 😳 and they all must have told this to their friends an relatives..
so guys keep the spirit up.. A revolution starts with a few and the whole world gets effected.. this is our fight with the channel and we have to win this..

You bet FEW do matter.....
The outcome will show...anyways....
They say "Great things are done by a series of small things brought together." and I guess a FEW people are trying to do those small things....
No MR No LTL and No Colors....the motto remains....unscathed.

That's right, revolutions start with a handful of people. Look at Anna Hazare, perfect eg; of how one man nd his ideology can affect crores within days. It has the power to bring down governments. So colors will ignore the 200+ audiences at their own peril. Ofcourse this is not to suffice that we r embarking on a revolution, but every shrewd marketeer knows the value of "word of mouth". What about the silent thousands who just visit nd gather info nd leave. They r witness to what's cookg in the forum. I know for a fact some of the threads attract thousands of visitors. They all not necessarily participate but do carry the message around. But Indians r prone to wake up late nd colors is no exception. They will realize when things r beyond their reach. The heads of colors r living in a bubble right now. Their motto is make hay while the sunshines! My belief is Har kutte ka din aata hain! Lets see.

This is a revolution, unknowingly triggered by colors & a special person. We are 200 members, most of us are decision makers & are capable of influencing many people. Instead of using our power in their favour, they reminded us that we are few, whose viewing or not viewing will not matter, but reality is different.
Anna Hazare is just one person, but today he is supported by many in his revolution. So never underestimate the power of few.
Thanks Pooja for this post

Really good post Pooja. I tend not to post in topics created by the PS types because he might not be real and everyone else pretty much nails the point when responding. The thing that stood out for me in your post is how WE represent the truth that Colors can't seem to face up to. The fact is, we even if 200, are representing a lot of people. So many people with different professions, cultures and backgrounds scattered across the globe shared that common link of loving Vintage LTL, like you said. At the end of the day, the fact that the 200 or so people on this forum think that LTL2 is garbage, despite not knowing very little about each other and hell, coming from cultures that would be alien if we all met up šŸ˜†, AGREE ON 1 THING: the current track is garbage, uncreative and responsible for ruining a beautiful show. The show should end and someone is responsible for messing it up.
Colors can't deny this thought process that is coming from a minority of people who are actually representing the views that will slowly engulf the aam junta as well, who is pretty much still cooped up in the 'Dutta aka Mishal Raheja wapas aayega' mindframe.

And I liked Ksh's point of IF been a platform of getting positive feedback, which unfortunately Colors seem to not have the ability of utilising effectively. TRPs will go down eventually. It's just a shame that they are resorting to using MR's flashbacks and the usual cliffhangers of 'is the body his?' to draw the audience in *rolls eyes* Who are you kidding Colors? šŸ¤” We've seen it time after time again.

200 may be a few when we compare it with crores....but our unity has shaken the big wigs..Why would "various people" try to convince us to watch the show? Its not just 200 but our ability to reach out to a much larger group that concerns them.

We are also an excellent sample set representing the cross section of viewers....but I don't know if "They" have the brains to realize itšŸ˜•
