April 7th, 2011 Written Update

Amma is upset at the words of the Mamas and Mamis and says why these things happen to Runjhun. She was so hopeful that Guddu would change and looked so happy to go with Guddu to meet his parents. She says she feels like beating up Guddu for betraying Runjhun like that. She decides to tell Runjhun as soon as she gets home.

Mittho is yelling at the workers outside and the rest of the family is out too. Guddu drives up with Runjhun and yells for Kukkan and Jabbo (Jabbo is back). The family are wondering what's up. Kukkan asks Guddu why is he so happy. Guddu says his mother is out of coma. He gives Kukkan the boxes of sweets. Runjhun slides of Guddu's bike and is leaving but Guddu stops her and gives her a box too to give to the family.

The mamis twist their mouth, and Kalsanwali mouth says that "hero and heroine" are doing drama. Runjhun gives the sweets to the mamis and they take it grudgingly. Rajju is not happy that Runjhun's fortune worked in favor of Guddu. Buntu says that even Billo is unhappy. Guddu is narrating what happened at the hospital and how Runjhun immediately touched Dinanath's feet and told Dinanath that she's happy with Guddu. Guddu says that a miracle happened then when Runjhun touched his mother's feet. He says it doesn't know how it happened. Kukkan and Jabbo says that the important thing is that his mother is well.

The mamas and mamis gather round, and Buntu tells Guddu that he's happy that Guddu's mom is well. Vishnu asks Guddu that now that all is well, he shouldn't go back on his word. Guddu assures the mama and mami that he will leave the Pandey House regardless of whatever happens.

Runjhun comes in alone and Amma sees Runjhun alone and says that Guddu left her and went. Amma says she knows what happened and she knows the truth. Runjhun tries to calm Amma down and asks her who told her that Guddu would leave. Amma narrates how he Mamas and Mamis were talking about it. Runjhun listens. Amma says that this is all her fault. Runjhun tells Amma that she shouldn't talk like that. She tells Amma that she must have misunderstood something.

She tells Amma that Guddu didn't leave her, and tells Amma that instead Guddu is very happy today because his mother came out of the coma. She shows Amma the box of sweets and tells Amam that he gave it to her to give to the family. Amma asks Runjhun if she is telling her the truth. Runjhun nods and says yes. Runjhun tells Amma that today she got the thing that she's been waiting for all her life. She tells Amma it was the most special day for her, because she got the love of a mother and father. She tells Amma that Guddu's parents embraced her and said that she was not their daughter in law but their daughter. Amma is happy. Runjhun tells Amma that how can Amma says that she is the cause of bad things when she got her biggest happiness today. Runjhun tells Amma that her happiness is and ill always be Amma. She hugs Amma and apologizes for telling Amma only half the truth.

Guddu returns and is worried that he keeps on getting tangled deeper and deeper. He says today his mother made Runjhun the daughter of the family. He walks to his room and sees Runjhun packing. He asks Runjhun what she is doing. Runjhun says she is packing his belongings. Guddu says he can see that, but why is she packing. Runjhun tells him because she doesn't want to trouble him. So he can come and leave with ease too. She hands the bag to Guddu and tells him that he can leave now as his plan was successful. She tells him she knows he just wanted the father to approve the marriage so he could then go free. Guddu asks Runjhun who told her.

Runjhun says that if anyone else had told her she wouldn't believe it, but she heard Guddu himself saying what his plan was. She tells him she overheard him talking to the mama. Guddu tells her to place the bag down. He wonders why she kept up the charade when she knew the truth already. Runjhun says she knew the truth but for a few moments he gave her the respect of a wife. For a few moments she was able walk in society as his wife.

Guddu says she could have easily taken revenge. She could've easily told his father the truth. This means she must have been scared of him. Runjhun tells him she was scared, but not of Guddu, but for Dinanath. For the relationship between the son and his father. She says that the enmity is between them, why should she involve others in it. It would have been a blow for a man who was already dealing with the pain of his wife being in coma. She says that her Amma didn't teach her to cheat people or hurt them. She says that if a small lie can help someone then it's not a big deal. She tells Guddu he can leave as all his things are packed. She says that some of his clothes are in the wash but he can send Kukkan and Jabbo to get it, because he might not have the courage to walk back in the house.

Runjhun leaves and Guddu calls her back. He asks her if she is challenging his courage and she says yes, otherwise he wouldn't have run away and backed down from the challenge. She says he is scared that he might actually become someone nice. Guddu tells her that she is stubborn and that there is no point in talking to her. Runjhun tells him that avoidance is sign of fear but Guddu says that he has nothing to say to someone like her. He takes his bag and leaves but pauses and tells that Runjhun Shukla better not show her face to him anymore.

Runjhun says she's not ready to give up. Guddu might not accept but she's not backing down. Especially because her Amma's happiness is at stake.

Precap: Kalsanwali tells Amma that Guddu had his fun with Runjhun and left. Amma looks angrily at Kalsanwali.
