Dushyant and Sudha have had scenes where one thinks that what if Sudha and Dushyant were together, coz it always seems one is there for the other at times, like when Dushyant was whipping himself around his body after the deeryavatu with a whip and had bruises everywhere, it was Sudha who put balm on him and also when Sudha got bruises after Raman was brutal to her and when Sudha nearly committed suicide - Dushyant was there to stop her taking the pills etc

I dont know much about it as such as in what he wants from Gulaal and the family now, as i did miss episodes before - as i use to watch it on and off sometimes (esp the episodes after Durgesh's reveal and why it was rejected and the lead up to V-G marriage as such), but i do know how the story of Durgesh being half woman/man came about, it was revealed when he came with his parents to marry Gulaal if i remember correctly (this was when Vasant and Gulaal wanted to marry as well), this was a decision taken by their own parents on one rainy night as both mother's were pregnant with child, and the father's made a pact that if one has a daughter and the other has a son, then they will get them married and on that night, some other halfwoman/man came you know the ones who dance, and bless the baby and so on, and with these ppl you never should call them names or be horrible to them, coz they can curse you, you always bless them with money and something, well Gulaal's dad blessed them with money and such, but the other guy's father was ill-mannered and ignorant and called them beggers and one of the main halfwoman/man said something about how Gulaal's dad will get Mata's blessing and durgesh's dad wont, and then from her forehead put put a colour on Gulaal's dad's face and said 'Gulaal' and walked away,,, so we can guess now where the name Gulaal came from, so from what i can see Durgesh was born as a woman/man coz of what his father did, it was a good episode - an eyeopener to ppl who dont bless those kind of ppl

Like Lennie explained this Durgesh is a eunuch and a 'Maa ka Bhakt' - he met Gulaal at a temple when he was in a woman's guise and Gulaal was kind to him, so he assumed that she wouldn't mind marrying him.
But Gulaal was already in love with Vasant. When Durges, his father and sister came to Raasipur to 'see' Gulaal - Vasant and Gulaal recognised Durgesh for being the woman at the temple and told the elders that there was something odd about the 'dulha'.

Gulaal also told him that even if he had not been a eunuch she could not marry him because she loved Vasant. Durgesh's father, a very arrogant man, blamed Gulaal and heaped bad accusations on her and left. He was also so shocked by the fact that his son had a double life that he had a heart attack.
Since then Durgesh has not forgiven Gulaal, Vasant and his family for both humiliating him and causing his father to bear such a shock. It was he who sent the truck driver to cause the accident in which they were all hurt and Vasant eventually died. And he still hates them.
