I was so happy in my corner of the room at late night. The breeze was coming through the window and I could hear Revathy snore mildly in her sleep. I had been lucky to be in possession of Revathy. She was all I had and I loved her deeply for her dedication towards me. Now she had decided to pass me on to her daughter's vau, Gopi. That's what she told me<sigh>. I hope gopi is as sweet as Revathy. I can't bear to part with my friend of three decade. Even after thirty years my life was so easy. All I had to do was travel everywhere with Revu darling. She cleaned and bathed me twice daily as if I am her grandson, Ahem. But I am not that rude boy Ahem!
Now sitting quietly besides Revu's bed I heard some noise, as if two people are talking. Oh no, It's that toothress! What is she doing here? And what is it with that wheeled trolly? My heart skipped a beat. I need to wake up Revu. This toothress and her bad daughter had tried a lot to strip me of my lock, but they had failed. I am sure they are up to no good I must somehow escape. Revuuuuuuuuuuu…. I wanted to scream. But Revu seems to be fast asleep! Oh, what should I do?
I could feel the toothress lift me up and place me on the trolley. What is she doing? Fitting wheels for me? Oh no, she is tying me up! I am doomed! Revuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Now she is rolling me outside the room. Oh, her daughter is sleeping on the ground. I could see toothress trying to wake Rashi. Only if I could do the same with Revu. *kick* Oh no, that stupid girl kicked me… Grrrr. The wheels fitted on my base moved me towards revu's daughter's room. Thank God! Now I am safe. I am sure kokila will help me.
Alas, my fate was sealed. Kokila was also sleeping like a log. She didn't even see me come in. The toothress came and took me back. Closed my eyes.. I can't bear it. I feel like crying.. She bumped me, and pulled me and rolled me all along.
Suddenly I could feel the cold nightly chill all over me. I already miss revu's shelter. I opened my eyes to find myself on road. Help… My eyes filled up on its own… I had no control over my emotion. Then I heard the Police siren. Oh, does this mean that I am going to be rescued? The toothress and her daughter hid me in bush. Oh help… Police…. Help….. The Siren died and toothress pulled me out. She lifted me up onto a well…. I was scared. Rashi held me. A shiver ran through me. What if Rashi takes her hand away? As if to answer my question, she lost her grip on me and I skidded. *splaaaaaaaaaaaaaash* Revuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu…… Yes, My fate was sealed!
