Why does the law treat Bwood stars differently?

šŸ˜• Ok, this might be a very senstitive subject, but I want to address and talk about it maturely in a open forum like this. When normal citizens break the law (such as rape, murder, car accidents, manslaughter, etc.), they are punished to the maximum extent of the law and not given any special treatment. We have seen that laws in India are less strict then those of the United States, Canada, and other international countries. When Salman Khan ran over that innocent person years ago with his car, he got away with it and only got a slap on the wrist. The only case I have seen justice prevail is in the Shiney Anuja case. But, was he framed and treated worse than other normal people who have done the same thing? Didn't that maid lie and get bribed? It could be possible that Shiney is innocent! Also, the Sanjay Dutt terrorism case back in the 90's was another example. If he had done that in the U.S. post 911, he would have probably gotten a death or life-in prison sentence.
Why are Bwood stars treated differently than the normal citizens?

This should be a eye-opening topic, so please share your thoughts. Thanks. 😲

no star deserves preferential treatment. All people, regardless if you are a celebrity or not, should be punished like anyone else!

Because stars have power that regular people don't have. They have support from fans, industry, money, ect

because India is high on corruption... little money here and there.. most of the high profile criminals are out or the government takes YEARSSSS to process the case and hangs it and by that time public forgets it and only the family members are there to fight for it which is not enough.
For ex. the Salman khan case, he is still treated as a god from his fans after all that.. and on the other hand Chris Brown is looked upon as a lowlife because of what he did..
Its all about the power of law... the truth is that in India, the law is bought with money whereas in other countries the law stands same for normal citizens to high profile celebrities.

yep we're all "bashers", and haters just because we don't support wrong-doings of an actor.

and Sanjay Dutt was involed with terrorists and was caught with firearms in the case of Mumbai bombing. He spent only 16 months in prison.

what does a basher do? answer: bashing 😊

let's not overgeneralize every opinion that's not in favor of a star as bashing. Such an overrated word on this forum šŸ˜†

ps. it wasn't specifically directed to u, Anu, it's one of those statements that's heard continuously from some fans.
