Victory Victory victory Atlast
Glory to all Indians at large
28 years of waiting is over
The cup of joy brimming forever
The Men in Blue conquered and crowned
The whole Nation ecstatic and Proud
They sweated, fretted and planned it well
We'll cheered, danced and Prayed as well
They had capacity, strength and sagacity
We had Hope, confidence and Piety
Cricket is a religion; a passion and faith
That unites us all across various faiths
Victory at all costs inspite of terror
Victory for all Indians living all over
Glorious the Triumph,exhiliration the feeling
A new World champions, a new beginning
Glory to the game,Hail to us Indians
Proud and honoured,victorious and strenghtened
Belief in our Men in Blue
Indians in a multi colored hue
The flags held high and waved
The crowds cheered and swayed
The victory dance and music played
The victory Indians deserved and earned
