How comes Ritesh doesn't go to jail?

In the TB article it said that Ritesh becomes the sole owner of everything owned by the Ganguly parivaar, but how comes he doesn't end up in jail considering he pushes Onu down a cliff?

I think the CV's have totally lost the plot.. What do you guys think?
