Short update

Something from the precap for tomo tells me that Tej like a true protective brother will be super cheezed off with Maan for hurting his sister....and I think Maan will have to patao both his Saalas to get in to the house to manaofy Geet. So that means he'll have to patao Lucky, by getting him Preeto, and Tej....umm well in some other way. and Beeji chalo iss main uska charm hi use karna padega.

Pammi aur Lachchi ka pata nahi.

But, I would love to see the funny ways in which he tries to patao the family....and finally his heartfelt apology to Geet.

Loved the radio message and absolutely adored Drashti's silent pain....the entire baby sequence was mindblowing!

Loving Tej's character. he's such a lovable protective brother ...liking Maasi too...but...ok lets see how her character unfolds. I like the fact that they've assumed that Maasi n family know that Geet's married and they're aware of The Maan Singh Khurana in her life. Now to see the punjab da puttar fighting the jija-the-sher!

Kal toh mazaa aa jaana hain...hopefully by sat Maan realizes where Geet is.

lucky the happy go lucky as his game goes has been brought in to bring in the much needed light heartedness into the otherwise serious show ... though the character graph is not outta the world or innovative, he does manage to put a smile on your face, cos you cant hate a happy person .. everyone wants some laughter, everyone wants cheer, and everyone would love to have that bunch of happiness and positivity around them ... Lucky, luckily does that well...

The mention of another character was made today of Nandini..or whoever, who was shown to have gone to study at a friends place, meaning to say this family of geets is a more progressive family that allows and encourages girls to study as well.. beejis line that says, the marks dont reflect what they claim to study shows, she not only allows her to study, she expects this little girl to do well as well...

Teji is obviously a man with a tough exterior ... there is more to him than what we can see at the moment.. he gives you an insight into what a Punjabi man really would be like, if you havent interacted with many as yet .. he is an obedient sun, he taunts his wife with his one liners cos he knows he loves her anyway and can get away with it.. what is to be noted however, is that he is a man who is always alert ..the exchange of looks between biji and him, show they have an understanding of their own.. she obviously trusts him implicitly, and his respect for her also comes from the fact that he knows she can never be wrong ...when he sets out, he doesnt find the need to tell his wife what he is doin, he merely lets her know since its his duty .. once again, the treatment of the women in the household is established, while there is one woman who calls the shots, there is another that is told where she needs to be kept, and at some level she knows thats perhaps where she belongs as well .. and thats the effect Teji has on the people around him ..!

When he bumps into MSK he readily helps him, without a return in favor .. the line yeh punjab hai, shows the honor and pride inside the Maan, that could also be compared to the one Maan holds... as MAAN SINGH KHURANA ... aagey jaakey when the takkar happens, if it ever does ...it might be like the clash of the titans ..

Teji has misunderstood Maan and Geet, and has only learnt what he has heard...

While Geet had one family that didnt support her though she was right, here is another extension to her family thats ready to support her on hearsay .. well we cant say still.. we dont know who breaks the news to teji ..

Do we now see an over-protective family that will not let Maan reach Geet though he wants to ?

Will we have a YPD chori-chupke romance between the leads where they start meeting once again like lovers and in the process fall in love again?

Will Maan be forced to win her back true hero style, and this time convince Geets family though she is his wife?

Will we get to see more of mahi's as they yearn to be together but cant, since the family thinks Maan had hurt her?

Or will we see a total turn around where Maan and Teji become friends, presuming Teji hasnt seen Maans picture ( well its a show kuch bhi ho sakta hai), brings Maan home DDLJ style... Will Dev land up in the process... fall in love with Nandini or who ever has gone to study ?? what if dev also lands up, there is more confusion, Teji thinks Dev is Maan, but Dev falls in love with Nandini and there is a comedy of errors, confusion mixed with a whole lot of drama ... well, i am amused and already thinking, but is all of this only playing in my head ??? i dont know... but i liked it .. and when i talk too much or write too much, i guess it just reflects on my impression of the episode ..

that damn radio just had wad Maan wanted to say ... but they never played the song, so since he didnt, here is wad i have to dedicate from Maan to geet...

Generally a very light hearted episode. I floated with the currents within the episode as smoothly and as relaxed as I heard the words "Sit back and relax" and watch …..

After watching Geet's fragile moments to date, I realize that emotional pollutants can distort her perception of herself. These pollutants are guilt, shame and lack of self-esteem. Perception is indeed a mirror. Because she is not able to love herself wholly, it's crippling her ability to accept the waves that Maan uttered to lash her very confidence and self-esteem. Perception is not a window, it's a mirror. But her greatest strength is to see beauty in others, and then it's like seeing her own beauty in the other. It takes one to know one. Her simple heart is so much a treat to watch. How can anyone not fall in love with her?

Geet always seems fearful of her elders and relatives of her own Khandan. Shows the deep respect and honor with which she is brought up. Unlike what Maan accused her of being! Perhaps also to show how wrong Maan could be with respect to her Khandan.

Beautiful people are quick to spot "beautiful" traits in others. The opposite is true as well. And here is where Maan's purposes are defeated. His greatness and graciousness is shadowed by his anger. His search is never ending till the time comes for him to lay his ego bare at Geet's feet.

Hey what a terrific copy of SRK's movie. Still, how touching to have Maan dedicate that song for Geet. And the perfect timing and the perfect words brought Geet to tears.

Dev's confessed, reformed self. Calming the storm in Dadima and Maan, being the dependable bro-in-law for Arjun, the warm and understanding bro for Annie and the invisible burden bearer for Geet. What more of a self-obsessed projection of one-self! And all this to what purposes ? I fear.
