Does being choosy turn you off from your favorite?

😕 There are a lot of actors/actresses who cannot be Aamir Khan. Everyone has their own identity and appeal with the audience. Aamir Khan has developed a strategy for being particular about his film roles and one release a year or every two years does not hurt his box office standing. However, on the other hand, that hurt Hritik Roshan very badly. He had a huge hit in Jodhaa Akbar in 2008. Then, two years later, he came back with the hyped releases Kites and Guzaarish which sank without a trace. Being choosy hurt him and now he is coming in films that are hopefully going to get back his loyal audience who believed in him years earlier!

I like one movie a yaar policy maybe at most 2....but that means I expect quality work. Good movie, good performance, good role...etc etc. I would take one good movie over 5 crappy films anyday!

I really don't care. It's difficult to predict box-office and most of them, even the biggest stars, need that to stay at the top. All these senior actors who have become choosy have done tons of films as a newcomer. There was an Aamir Khan interview some time back where he mentioned that he used to do a lot of films earlier because he wanted to make a name first, now he is selective because he needs time to work on various levels and also he can afford to do that. Kareena isn't selective at all and yet at the top. There's Hrithik Roshan who was selective from the beginning but that really didn't work in his favor. It's all about star power in Bollywood.

idc about how many movies my fav actor/actress do in a year as long as the story makes sense and he/she actually do some gud acting in it then i am fine with it but it rarely happens in bollywood nowdays.

i like it when a lot of movies keep coming out continuosly, not neccessarily of the same actor, but there shuld be a steady stream of good movies, so if that means actors shuld do 3-4 movies a year, then thats wut they shuld do. for example. srk barely does any movies now and nowss the time he suld hurry since hes getting old

Kareena is not selective about her work at all. She just signs films based on the stars and sometimes based on the script...but that's very rare with her.
