:::Update 41:::Honour:::

At the Chemistry labs Abhay had been busy trying to get his compound by separating the inorganic material using sodium chloride. He put the finished mix into the machine to clear the solution of any residue he didn't need. Finally he'd finished up heading out of labs to meet up with Pia and the others outside the University gates. He saw a sheepish Lexie with a face like thunder. Something had set her mood off. He decided to giver her some alone time. Talking tp Lexie in this state was pointless. Pari was mindful of Lexis mood. She knew her cousin was stressed out with her own agenda. One she could not reveal to the gang. She knew what their response would be like. At least Lux was looking better than yesterday. Misha had made it her mission to keep Lux actively involved with her side project on gifting Panchi for a promotion she'd gotten at work. It was a cause for celebration for them all. They all get into their vehicles.

Lexie reveals to everyone about Sid's invitation-"Sid wants us all to go round his place. His family are throwing a get together to celebrate Holi."

Lux had a quizzical look plastered on his face-"When did U see Sid?"

Lexie replied-"I met him outside of the gates. He wanted to see us all for a personal invite but he ran out of time."

Misha mused-"U mean U bit his head off."

Lexie frowned sinking back in her seat-"I wasn't in the mood for pleasantries. I'm only passing onthe message. I was civilised with him."

Abhay gave Misha a stern look-"Lay off Misha. She's not in the right frame today is an off day for her."

Lux could see Lexie was worried. His sister had difficulty masking her real emotions-"Lexi these past few days you've been awfully secretive."

Lexie wanted to go hide somewhere-"Lets move already. I got a lot to do at home. Now we have this do to get to."

Abhay had finally made a pit stop at the Dobrial's dropping off Misha. She gave Lux a quick peck on the cheek before she headed out. Then they'd driven back to the Raichand Mansion. Chand and Haseena had come back from a business meeting. Chand offered the youngsters a take out Pizza they'd brought back with them. Lux headed straight for the first slice off the box. He loved the vegetarian extra cheese base. Lexie took one piece with her headed upstairs to put her book away. A few more practice and she'd have all the necessary skills to complete her training. Pari stopped by Lexis room. She observed Lexis mannerism's from the get go. Something was wrong.

Pari waited for Lexie to turn around-"Is this getting to U Lexie? I saw your eyes. U can't hide this from us. Lux has already picked up on your woes. He knows something is up."

Lexie lied-"I'm a little swamped with work. It's getting harder and the exams are swiftly upon us in a few months time."

Pari crossed her arms-"Pull the other one Lexie. This is me your talking to. Not Abhay who believes in U blindly."

Lexie felt trapped-"Fine. I'm dabbling with some extreme forces. It's drained the energy source from me. I'm trying to build an intolerance level against this depleting power source."

Pari sighed in disappointment-"holy c**p! By the mother of all withes. U can't do this on your own Lexie. It's dangerous. Do U know how addictive this can get. Its like a drug. U can't meddle with the dark arts without full training. I told U i'd supervise."

Lexie was adamant on seeing this through on her won. It was dangerous to get Pari involved-"I have Hecate on my side. I'll be safe i promise."

Pari knew Lexie was in denial-"I know your head deep in this Lexie. Don't be ashamed to ask for help. We are in this together."

Lexie was determined to allown none of her family in this dangerous path. She'd already set a darkling on her case-"Pari chill. I've got it under control. I swear i have. We need to get ready for Misha's. Besides Piya is on her way up. She's a little low."

Piya entered with a knock on Lexie's room-"Hey i was wondering if i could borrow one of your dress's? This one is ruined thanks to all the coloured balloon fights we had today."

Pari enthused-"Feel free to try anything U want."

Piya gave a light hearted smile walking towards the girl's wardrobe selecting a white long dress-"Thanks."

Pari saw Piya was upset about something-"Piya your worried about leaving this place right?"

Piya turned around placing the dress on Lexie's bed-"U read my mind!"

Lexie sympathized with Piya-"No. I feel the same way. Lux being here was the only reason we moved here. Piya U are welcome here as long as U want. Abhay has no problem with U residing here. in fact he loves U being here. we all do. I know this is one place Maya can't get to U and Danish."

Piya knew she was imposing on the Raichand's. Her blood was potent to them. piya was used to being an independent girl and all of a sudden she was relying on others-"I know but at some point i'll have to move out. People are already talking. We can't shut them up forever."

Lexie frowned mad at the person Piya was referring to-"U mean T! Her and her minions can take a hike. She's just jealous Piya. Spreading malicious rumours is what she does best at."

Piya knew once word spread out this would get out of hand-"But?"

Pari had an idea-"Have U ever thought about marriage? U know to Abhay? U love him and he loves U its the perfect reason to be together forever. This way nobody can say anything about you guys. U wanna be with him right?"

Piya noddeded eagerly-"I doubt Abhay would want this."

Lexie chimed in-"Da will give in to U hands down. Ask for his life he'll hand it to U this is nothing in comparison."

Piya wanted Abhay bound to her. they were Soulmates so why not. She had experienced a short life cycle. She might as well see one marriage in one lifetime-"Its the proposing i'm concerned about."

Lexie blurted out-"Nowaday's generation are fast forward Piya. We leap first and ask questions later. I know usually it's the guy who proposes but in this case i think it would be perfect if U did the honours."

Piya was scared and excited at the same time-"We'll do this after Lux's transformation. I want to make sure he's safe first."

Pari chimed-"It would be an excuse to celebrate Piya. We've not had one for too long."

Lexie, Piya and Pari held hands in unison-"To Family, (All shout) Family!"

Lexie squeezes Piya tight-"This is going to be so cool. I can't wait."

Pari was more curious about how Abhay would take this-"So your cool about Sid?"

Piya beamed-"Yes. Abhay's made me see the light. He is my brother. He didn't do anything wrong. The circumstances were stacked against us. It's my father i'm cross with. He's the one i should be focusing my anger towards not Sid."

Sid came to the Raichand's to make sure Piya tagged along with them at theirs. He was nervous about how she'd respond to seeing the family together. Sid had warmed to Abhay even if he didn't trust the guy completely. After all he knew it was Abhay who'd persuaded Piya to attend the function.

Sid saw Piya descending down the stairs-"We all set to go."

Piya spoke-"Yes. We're all set."

Sid captured Lexie's gaze-"Hi!"

Lexie coldly answered back"Hi!"

Piya stared at the cold front between the two warring duo-"I know U dislike each other but your abrupt manner is giving me a chill. Sort it out between U. We've got enough feud to last us a few lifetimes." Pia headed out with Abhay in the front seat with Lux and Pari already in the back.

Sid and LExie broke the ice-"I told U i won't tell anyone about your secret."

Lexie threw bag her daggers at Sid-"U can't tell a soul. i'm in deep water and i can't throw anyone with me. I'm doing this to ward off Maya in one sweep."

Sid knew how it felt like to have the world on your shoulders-"I understand Lexi but Pari is a gifted witch. She can help U."

Lexie refused help-"It's important i shelter them all from this. It can get very dark. Only i know how to get myself out of the pit."

Sid was used to stubborn women. His own sisters were the prime example-"Just be careful."

Lexie headed out with Sid-"Thanks for not pushing. I'm sorry for freezing U out. I'm a little crazy right now. About your meeting with a fellow wolfie i won't spill. I know why U were with them."

The Dobrial house

Misha waited for Lux and co to arrive. She'd had a bucket filled with Colour to pour over them from the balcony. She was waiting impatiently for some time now. Panchi was over the moon to see Misha so alive. It was like watching someone else. Her parents had seen a dramatic change in their daughter over the past few days. The change was good. Panchi had felt this way a long time ago but now it felt like a lifetime ago. Misha's face was so animated as usual but the look of love glowed all over Misha. Finally the sound of cars at the front door had signalled Misha to head for her cue. As soon as Lux stepped out of the car Misha grabbed hold of the bucket tipping it down all over Lux and Abhay. The girls steered well clear of Misha's mischievous plans.

Misha shouted across the balcony-"Happy Holi people."

Lux flicked his arms about covered in red colour soaking wet-"Misha U will pay for this."

Madhoo wondered what all the commotion was about-"Come on in son. (She yelled)Misha get down here U naught girl."

Arnab saw the state of Lux and Abhay-"Madhoo go get a towl to dry the boys down. Misha's been in high spirits all day. She must have drank too many bhangs."

Madhoo invited them all in with Sid laughing-"Get in before U catch a cold."

Sid flicked his hair back with his fingers-"She got U both. U should have seen what she did to me earlier. Lux U wanted a spontaneous girl Misha is anything but boring."

Madhoo handed the towels to the boys. Lux started drying himself off. Piya burst out into frenzied laughter. She sat Abhay down on a stool drying his hair-"It's a good look Abhay."

Abhay gave a sarcastic look-"Wait till i get U home."

Arnab glanced at Piya and Abhay's interaction. He wasn't keen on the Raichand's forget about Abhay but he was in no hurry to alienate Piya. Sid had warned him about Piya's temprement-"Madhoo go get them something warm to drink. This isn't how we welcome guests in the house. Piya beta i'm leased U came."

Piya wanted no part of Arnab-"I came for my brother and sisters not for U."

Abhay signed Piya with his eyes to keep the peace-"We are here to celebrate. Not bicker."

Piya apologized-"I'm sorry where are my manners? Sid it was nice of U to ask us here? i know i've been a b***h at times but i want to make a new start."

Madhoo brought in some tea-"Lux drink this it should warm U up. Here's one for U Abhay."

Abhay placed the tea down. Piya found Misha at the bottom of the steps with her hands behind her back. She came running to Piya-"Happy Holi Piya. I wanted to go all out but i've been told to behave. Sorry Lux but your face was a picture. I can't believe Abhay froze."

Piya knew Abhay had no choice but to freeze. Misha had already spotted him so it would have been impossible to explain how Abhay had ducked-"Well your pranks aren't over. Wheres Tracker?"

Misha rolled her eyes at Tracker's name-"She's got a hot date with Angad. So will be arriving late. Not like we can't start without her."

Piya saw Madoo and Arnab greeting a few of their business associates and took the tea off of Abhay and started drinking it-"All gone. Thanks for making me see my erred ways."

Abhay smiled with his dimples showing-"No worries Piya. It is for your own good. U can't let Arnab get the best of U. Piya U have to take this one step at a time like we discussed."

Piya whispered in a low voice so only Abhay can hear-"He makes my blood boil."

Abhay gave Piya a fleeting look to show he understood her well-"Misha U need a taste of your own medicine."

Lexie was already with Sid planting their own little revenge on Misha bringing out the bhang-"Here U go Misha we got one for everyone."

Misha was thirsty with laughing out too loud. Her throat hurt-"Thanks." Misha gulped down the whole lot. Lux joined in refilling her glass. Misha continued on drinking.

Piya wanted to stop them-"She's had enough."

Panchi gracefully mentioned-"Piya she has U as her next target."

Misha started dancing around.

Madhoo came back to see a giddy Misha being taped by her brother Sid-"What are U playing at Sid?"

Sid beamed cheerfully-"Chill Mom. Mish is getting a dose od reality. We'll play this tomorrow for her should be a hoot."

Panchi was in agreement-"Misha's had too much fun now its our turn."

Sid gave a high five to Piya-"Now to make Misha say a few home truths on film. She'll be squirming so bad."

Arnab watched the kids have fun. For the first time he'd felt lie he had a full house. All four of his kids under the same roof.

Chand and Haseena found being around humans a little too much and decided to leave early. Chand praised Arnab for a wonderful spread he'd set out-"This has been a grand Holi event for us. We generally don't celebrate this occasion but we are humbled to have spent this with your family."

Arnab waved Chand and Haseena off.

Sid with Abhay having a man to man chat-"I appreciate your input on Piya. She's embracing us all. Thank U."

Abhay was thrilled to see Piya at ease with her new family. She needed this-"Piya's happiness lies with letting the past go and bringing a new dawn."

Sid shook Abhay's hand-"This is all down to U. I know how much U love her. i can see it now."

Abhay normally kept his feelings under wrap but let this slide-"Piya is my reason for existing. Her happiness is above mine."

Maya and her guest

A new stranger revealed himself to Maya and Danish. Someone they'd called upon to wreak some spirits crushed beneath their eyes. This stranger was a familiar face to Maya and Abhayendra. He was Sid the vampire.
