Spine chilling suspense, kidnapping, ransom, engrossing murder mystery and loads of spunky and joyful musical soundtracks encapsulated in honey coated love story sums up the escapades of '36 China Town'. Showman Subhash Ghai comes out with his biggest presentation of the year after 'Shaadi Se Pehle' with the estimated budget of Rs. 300 million. The film has the basic sugar and spice of thriller with the galaxy of stars comprising Kareena Kapoor, Shaahid Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna, Isha Koppikar, Payal Rohtagi and model-turned-actor Upen Patel. The subject of the film conceptualizes the genre who believes in earning mega bucks overnight. It highlights three genres of people - one who earn and help others, second who earn for themselves only and the third one who commits heinous crime to materialize their dreams. The crime thriller specialist director duo Abbas- Mustan directs this potboiler and is expected to hit theatres during the last week of May this year. The director duo's first association with Mukta Arts' 'Aitraaz' was a prosperous venture and this promises another entertaining endeavor. It was this director duo that gave Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar their breakthrough success films like 'Baazigar' and 'Khiladi, respectively. The glossy and flashy promo of '36 China Town' has already been a rage and the music has hit charts in a big way. Teenage pop sensation Himesh Reshammiya promises his finest work and the funky number speaks volume of his vocal and musical panache. Reshammiya has earlier composed the music for Subhash Ghai's 'Aitraaz' and recently released 'Shaadi Se Pehle' with success. The hot "n" happening music director has tasted success working with Subhash Ghai and promises to maintain his winning streak with this album. Experienced Sameer has provided joyful and trendy lyrics to the funky beat music of Reshammiya. The music album of '36 China Town' has 11 upbeat soundtracks that can be heard on Tips.

ROCKING!!! The word is perfect for the bouncy, racy, and cloud bursting opening soundtrack "Aashiqui Mein Teri". The nasal twang of Himesh Reshammiya, funky "Chinese" musical percussions and loads of funky beats make this special for all occasions. The stuttering pace of the words "Aashiqui Mein Teri" is synchronized brilliantly with fine sets of funky beats in a raunchy style. The song has the background whispers of "36 Chinatown" with westernized club music to rock the dance floors. The song brings memories of Reshammiya's earlier hits like "Nikkamma Kiya" ('Kya Dil Ne Kaha') with additional Sufi style of musical arrangements. Sunidhi Chauhan clubs with Reshammiya and adds feminine grace to pump up the passion on the dance floors. The energetic and vibrant feel of the soundtrack is colossal and promises to climb charts within days of its release. The film has been promoted exclusively with this soundtrack featuring Shaahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Tanushree Dutta and Upen Patel. The song comes in another delightful version with loads of spunky westernized beats by DJ Akbar Sami in "Aashiqui Mein Meri (remix version)".

Hot "n" happening yuppie impact dominates all through 24x7 (the 24 hours in 7 days) with loads of trendy passion in the soundtrack "24x7 I think of you". Rollicking to the core it blends out the quizzical one-liners with pompous youthful zest in the highly animated voices of Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan. Himesh Reshammiya camouflages the beats and rhythms of "Boys are best" ('Chura Liya Hai Tumne') and "Taaza Taaza" ('Kya Dil Ne Kaha') with his trendy style of musical arrangements. Sameer's lyrics are snazzy, witty and speak the youthful flamboyance in whimsical way. A sure shot hit in succession and should pump spirits of the album and the film. DJ Akbar Sami mixes fast pitched funky beat in this trendy to make it special for discos in the "24 X 7 I think of you (remix)".

Himesh Reshammiya punches Latino music in hip-hop style this time, that comes rocking all the way in frothy and peppy soundtrack "Badi Dilchaspi Hai". The hot "n" spicy yuppie feel of Latino music can be felt in this slow moving funky soundtrack sung by KK and Arya. Sameer's lyrics might sound bizarre with "Mujhe Tujhme Badi Dilchaspi Hai" but overall it has resounding feel. If you have cherished musical tracks of Shakira, Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez then this is going to get you. DJ Akbar Sami's reverberating beats are once again to pump up mood in "Badi Dilchaspi Hai (remix)". It's fine piece of remixing work and it will boost rage in teenyboppers.

The shaking and gyrating rendition of "Rock your body", free flowing rock "n" roll music comes rollicking way in sentimental soundtrack "Dil Tumhare Bina". The nasal plunk of Himesh Reshammiya is back again with the able support of melodious and versatile Alka Yagnik. The song has emotional feel despite the fact the soundtrack has been conceived to pump dancing floors. Reshammiya's last composed film albums like 'Tom Dick and Harry', 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' and his pop album "Aap ka Surror" have similar tracks. His numbers like "Samjho Na", "Naam Hai Tera" (Pop album- "Aap Ka Surror") and "Tanha Jiya Na Jaye" ('Tom Dick and Harry') have been conceived on similar feel. The album gets party touch with yet another remix version ("Dil Tumhare Bina (remix)") coming your way by DJ Akbar Sami. This time Reshammiya chooses stylish Sunidhi Chauhan in this hip-hop club remix that is sure to hit floors in a big way. The Afro-American style of rap music is added to give it typical disco touch, and it works wonders.

If the sensuous "Dil Keh Raha Hai" ('Kyon Ki') has touched your heart and soul then this rhythm and blue soundtrack "Jab Kabhi" will impress you. Kunal Ganjawala's full throated voice gives the sympathetic and romantic feel of immensely emotional lover for his beloved in this mushy love song. Ever reliable Alka Yagnik sings the female part with finesse once again and makes it a perfect duet number. The soundtrack has soulful lyrics by Sameer that have long lasting impact. The song might have been a listening pleasure for the composer as it comes out in two remix versions. The first remix version is by the contemporary hot favorite DJ Akbar Sami and the second by another eminent Disco Jockey (DJ) Suketu. DJ Akbar Sami's remix version is high-pitched rendition of the original soundtrack mixed and spiced with club music. DJ Suketu's remix version brings out the trendy feel of hip-hop and rap "n" reggae touch. This version sounds funkier and groovy and will be ideal for lovely evening. The sensuous feminine whispers in the beginning followed by the criss-cross rap lyrics create the tempo for fine remix track.

Himesh Reshammiya has a winner up his sleeve in succession after the tremendous success of 'Aksar', 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye', 'Tom Dick and Harry' and 'Banaras - A Mystic Love Story'. The singer-cum-composer has coagulated his previous fine musical work with present musical trend in a remarkable way. The album comes in fine package of original soundtracks and remixes versions and will find acceptance in the pop genre.

In nutshell, SUPER HIT, ROCKING and BRILLIANT!
