Dear Friends,

In the forum I run with my friends, we had this section called 'Star of the week' where various members hosted their favourite stars/ personalities in reply other members commented what they liked about that star.

Today I am taking the liberty of hosting Dutta Bhau aka Mishal Raheja...😃

Last november I was sitting in a hotel room in Nainital and watching TV in the evening after our whole day of sightseeing. Since I was not following any serial in particular and was scanning channels I stopped in one, there was this chap (sorry Mishal, then I did not know your name) who was looking very like our great hero Uttam Kumar(Bengali hero) as he looked in his very famous Bengali film called Anthony Firingi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxuWZ2CtaDI) I stopped, no not because he was looking like Uttam but his still eyes stopped me, he was unwillingly going to meet his dying father, this much I could make out. When I came back that weekend, first thing I did is to switch on the P.C and search youtube for old episodes....my TV did not have colors, that week I subscribed for it, unfortunately for me, from the time I started watching the show started going down but nevertheless I enjoyed the Jungle Track and the Anna Track very much and of course this forum and the new friends I made through my posts and stories.

Friends, come lets share our special moments with Dutta Bhau, your most loved scene about him and of course you can also share about his old shows incase you have seen them. His yesterday's exit was very lame but as he embarks on a new journey lets give him a fitting goodbye by remembering his good work and hoping to see a lot more!! Love Tin

nice thread... MR is surely the star of the week...or wud star of LTL b a better name?

i loved MR's acting of DSP from day 1... he's enacted evry emotion so well... there r many scenes which hav been my fav n for various reasons...bt mainly the ones wer he has broken down n cried hav been my fav becos he's made us cry with him...be it breaking down at the talaab after seema's betrayal or wen he fell to the ground asking for his naku post FR, or wen he broke his room after finding out abt supriya's betrayal...MR is one of the very very few actors on TV that can enact al kinds of emotions so well and make u cry...the onli other actor tht made me cry in a scene was Iqbal Khan as Angad wen he breaks down... apart from tht no other actor can make me cry as MR has...

then there hav been the funi moments, the karanji scene (exc sups n ravi) the payal scene...

and thn obv all tasha scenes hav been my fav...i loved the car scene b4 the car fell ova the cliff... the bashan naku gives dutta n his expressions whilst listening to her wer jus amazing! so in summary i loved evry scene of MR/Dutta's becos in each scene, MR did an amazing job... he put life n soul into the character of DSP...bt sadly nt many hav appreciated his hard work n hav made a bad decision of getting rid of him, bt neway lets nt dwell on tht in this thread n lets relive our memories of DSP...

Good Post, There are many scenes which are my favourites.

Dutta's entry scene
Dutta gets shot admitted to hospital and saves baji first when some one tries to attack
His first scene with all the 3 sisters in mandir and tht song
Most of Dutta and nakku (dark nakku) scenes
Raksha bandhan scene with ROOPS .. i will never forget it 😭
Dutta searching nakku in anna's place and asking nakku...
Forest scene where Dutta and nakku escapes from anna's team
Baji and Dutta scenes'
Karanji scene
AS and Dutta scenes
Kala and Dutta (last scenes)

There are many...😭😭 they ruined the show... really not sure what to do. I was watching only this TV program. Really feeling bad. We got official conformation that Mishal has left the show (from Mahi's interview).

It's impossible to pick just one favorite scene....so I'd rather talk about my first encounter with Dutta....

It happened soon after his entry into the show! I was switching channels and then I suddenly came across the scene where he was being operated on without anesthesia! The twitching face-muscles, the tiny droplets of sweat all over his face, his eyes betraying both pain and resolve, his muffled groans and his hands clutching the pillow....I just couldn't take my eyes off...the sheer intensity of his expressions pulled me into the scene...so much so that I didn't even notice the obvious blooper of him having the shirt on during operation! Then I noticed Naku peeping into the room....and I just had to know the story!

The rest, as they say, is history😆

Its great you are hosting a segment for MR. yesterday again I was watching some of the old videos of laagi, this man has a great acting capability, he speaks with his eyes. I loved that scene so much when Naku was standing in his room and he found out that his Naku is back. this is after he openly proposed Naku and Naku left PN but after her confrontation with Baji, she came back. The way Mishal told " wapas to ayogi by holding her hand, was amazing. There are many more scenes which are so good

I'd like to add my thoughts .. thanx tin for opening this thread i/we need closure now ... 😭

i first heard of ltl wen colors was first introduced in the uk as a free channel and EVERYONE were raving about it ... i caught a glimpse of nakku and was appalled y she looked like that ... months went by and i suddenly remembered abt the show ... i think thats wen the whole HATE NAKKU campaign was happenining .. 😃 ...

i have a tendancy to watch a show from the pivotal point ... i did the same wiv kis des (the two leads (harshadadditi) are amazing actors and ma fave til date ... initially that show blew me away) ... i started watching the show proper from the 1st wedding aswell and again was blown away 😆.. MR's acting was out of the world 👏 ... it was the weirdest and original wedding i watched on tv ... one thing that always stuck to me was wen they wer doin the pheras and MR / dutta was limping from steppin on broken glass ... i dont no if it was real but i could feel both his physical and emotional pain ... that is the power of mishal raheja ... from then on i have just loved this guy for being the best DSP EVER ... the first JMM and wen 'madhno' played i woz overwhelmed (watched it like 5 times) ... wen he slipped and held nakkus shoulder his expression was too funny .. wen he saw fair nakku but didn't recognise her at anna's den my heart went out to nakku ... wen he confesses his love to her and she doesn't reciprocate ... oh man .. and wen she does come back, the childlike manner in which he asks 'wapas to aogi' .. there's sooo much ... and i for one will try to remember only the good bits ... may i just add he rocked his wedding sherwanis whether it was the marroon, green, blue and simple yellow ... the guy looks good in everything ... even the pathanis 😃

thanx guys for reading ... its somethin i needed to say ... wishing mishal all the luck in the world for watever he does ... he's a star and should always shine ⭐️
