Abhishek's DMD character same as Salman's Chulbul

In DMD Abhishek is set to play a cop who does things hes way apparently a Self-destructive cop but doesnt it all sound similar to Salman Khans Dabanng or should i say Chulbul Pandey?

Abhishek Bachchan: "I play ACP Vishnu Kamath in Dum Maaro Dum. He's a self-destructive cop fleeing his own past. I was given charge to destroy the drug mafia in Goa."

Dabanng which broke many records at box office last year had Salman Khan playing a cop where he did things his way!!

Just a thought do you think it sounds similar!
