Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha war warms up: Despite a rather successful debut and several films in her kitty post Dabangg, buzz is that actress Sonakshi Sinha's over-confident attitude has been upsetting several film-makers and industrywallahs. And leading the pack of the upset filmi crowd are those especially associated with actress Katrina Kaif including several of 'good friend' Salman Khan supporters.

Many insiders feel that Sinha taking uncalled for potshots at Kaif show the star-kid in a rather bad light. And while Kaif herself hasn't spoken out against the newbie at all, insiders insist that Sinha's claims of replacing Kaif haven't gone down too well in the close B-Town circles.

A source revealed, "Katrina is hardly bothered by all this, she's been around long enough to not be bothered by such baseless talks. But her producers are not taking it lightly that someone is targeting their actor."

Says an insider, "No one knows whether it's Sonakshi or someone from her camp spreading such rumours aiming Katrina. But in any case, it's Sonakshi's name that is being involved which reflects badly on someone who is only one film old."

Another source claims that it is out of respect for her father actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha that many are not voicing this openly, but it's definitely being discussed in hushed tones in the industry.

There were also recent reports of her claiming to have replaced Kaif in a clothing brand too. "How can Sonakshi talk about replacing Katrina when Kat hasn't even done the brand in question? She or her supporters are merely using Katrina's name to up her own quotient. Sonakshi is a rather talented girl herself, she need not use such tactics at all," says the insider.

Trade pundits too feel that it's silly to even compare the two. "Sonakshi is just one film old, while Kat rina has a super-successful innings to boast of. She is leagues ahead of Sonakshi in endorsements as well as hits. So it's unfair to compare them at all," they say. "Sure, Sonakshi has a lot of potential, but her camp going all out for Katrina will create bad blood in the industry circles too, because honestly Sonakshi has loads to prove before she can claim of giving Katrina a run for her money," add the trade analysts.
