Arya's brother Sathya (Shahir) is all set to make his debut as hero in Kadhal 2 Kalyanam (K2K) opposite Divya Spandana, who has become extremely popular after acting with Suriya in Vaaranam Aayiram. Satya is highly inspired by his brother Arya and would love to plan his acting career like him. Kadhal 2 Kalyanam, a jaunty love story, should serve as a perfect launchpad for Satya. The film is directed by Milind Rau, one of Mani Ratnam's assistants. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the film. The director claims that K2K will be quite different from regular Kollywood flicks.

So what is the story of K2K? Arul, a happy-go-lucky popular RJ at a station meets Anita, a workaholic, at his best friend's wedding. When Anita barges in and reveals that the groom is a two-timer, the wedding is called off. Arul is intrigued by Anita and tracks her down. After a few enjoyable dates, they fall in love with each other. But problem arise because of their different lifestyles and the chaos begins! So do they end up getting married? Watch out!
