in ke siva tu hi bata ae Dil tu ne kya kiya?
kabhi is taraf ,kabhi us taraf
kabhi is ke Dar,kabhi us ke dar
kabhi be Meher,kabhi be woqat
Kabhi gard pardhi kitabon main likhi
hue ik Gazal
Kabhi ronde hue phoolon ki ik Fasal
Kabhi Asman,kabhi be zameen
Kabhi pur umeed,kabhi be yaqeen
Kabhi shame-e-gham,kabhi sham-e-nam
kabhi aansoon ki ik lari
ae Dil tu hi bata kya hai tere pas?
Wohi aduhre se chand Alfaz
Wohi khamoshi se ki hue ik mohhabat
Wohi be woqat si zindagi
tujhe aanson ki hai kya kami
Muje mere aansoon ka hisab do
Mujhe zindagi ki woh kitab do
jahan mere nam ki khushi chupi
