This is the whole story which includes 4 of our leads. Please other forum members are requested to make some additions if they like.Well sorry for doing this but I HAD POSTED THIS same thing months ago, then I THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP YOU TO PROMOTE THIS SOAP.
Look this is the story of 4 woman their lives have been entangled due to some circumstances. Only their ideals about THEIR MARYADA is the same but each of them is different & unique from the other & their tact of dealing with the problems that they face is completely different. You may find yourself in ANY OF THESE 4 LEADING LADIES at some situations.
The story is about two sisters UTTARA (younger) and DEVYANI (elder).
UTTARA is married to RISHAB a useless man, who is good for nothing beats up his wife for no reason (this due to the insecurities that he feels regarding his inability).So, basically UTTARA is a victim of domestic violence. She often runs to her sister to find temporary solutions to her huge problems.
However, recently RISHAB made a deal with RASTOGI (a bank manager) that in exchange of loan from RASTOGI, UTTARA will have to sleep one night with RASTOGI. After a lot of drama from RISHAB'S end [RISHAB tried to commit sucide to emotionally blackmail UTTARA], UTTARA finally agrees to his demands. But, as usual UTTARA informs about this to DEVYANI & calls for help. DEVYANI helps UTTARA out of this mess by using her power & position. But, RISHAB is not aware of this favor from DEVYANI and keeps on ignoring UTTARA after this incident. Seeing RISHAB'S changed behavior UTTARA is very angry and narrates the whole incident to RISHAB and packs up her bag to leave to house. But RISHAB, GETS ANGRY AS UTTARA CALLED ON TO DEVYANI FOR HELP AS HE FEELS HE IS BEING EXPOSED TO THE WORLD, and starts beating up UTTARA and this time UTTARA beats him back in self defence and finally RISHAB IS DEAD.
UTTARA has a daughter TARA, who HAS BEEN STAYING IN HOSTEL, AS UTTARA KEPT her away from the VIOLENT ENVIRONMENT AT HOME. TARA is unaware of the truth of her MOM DAD'S relation, blames her MOTHER [UTTARA] for keeping her away from home & her father(RISHAB) for so long. This blame has turned into hatred from TARA'S end after her father's (RISHAB) death, which kills UTTARA each and every moment she tries to live.
DEVYANI is married to SSP BRAHMANAND JHAKHAR who is not only a truly corrupt man professionally but also has a couple of extra marital affairs. DEVYANI hides the true side of her husband not only from the society but also from her family [her children and even her sister] just in order to keep her family united . She a silent sufferer with no one to rely on except her sasur. She has three children
1.eldest son GAURAV [married to VIDYA]
2.second son ADITYA [married to PRIYA]
3.& youngest daughter SWEETY.
VIDYA is married to GAURAV who is having an extra marital affair keeps on running away form his wife whenever she tries to get physical, always keeps on avoiding her and is very ignorant towards her. VIDYA yearns for his love [however this matter is more of a mystery]
PRIYA is out of this world. ADITYA falls in love with PRIYA at the first sight. He meets PRIYA in a state where she was traumatized by a huge incident [this was due to SSP BRAHMANAND JHAKHAR WHO TRIED TO RAPE HER IN A MOVING TRAIN. When she went to complain about it in the POLICE STATION. BRAHMANAND made a false case against her and she was arrested for PROSTRITUTION. As a result AMAR who was to be her husband broke the marriage. She was humiliated in front of the whole society] that had recently occurred in her life. So bahut papad belne ke bad ADITYA was able to please PRIYA who finally falls in love with him. She tells ADITYA THE WHOLE TRUTH PRIOR TO GETTING INTO A RELATIONSHIP PRIOR TO ACKNOWLEDGING HER LOVE FOR HIM. ADITYA accepts her whole heartedly. Hence, their relationship precedes towards marriage, even DEVYANI after knowing the truth accepts PRIYA whole heartedly.
BRAHMANAND comes to know about this 3 days before marriage as previously he was caught up by some important job. He tries his level best to cancel the wedding & break the relationship. But, his son [ADITYA] threatens to leave the house so he has to agree to ADITYA'S demands. So, finally PRIYA has to face the truth after marriage, when BRAHMANAND threatens her that if she dares to open her mouth against him she will have to again face the hardships that she had faced earlier, but PRIYA informs him that he will have to pay for what he did, and that she will tell the truth to ADITYA & EVERYBODY else in the family.
