"you really do a great work by presenting feelings and reactions of your characters in normal way which make them more close to real world and we can easily relate to them ..desperate eyes and aching hearts finally get the opportunity to see and feel person for whom they are yearning badly ......the pain and storm of thoughts, hurt and fear to loose her again which arise in his mind after knowing biggest happiness of a couple , bring tears in readers eyes..

dear we don't know either we are right or not but radhika's talk about sita/ urmila looks very justifying now after every thing comes in light ..as sita she went with her husband to some other country , tries her best to support him in all situations and as urmila she calmly waited for her husband to come to her without complianting about anything which hurts or pain her the most that she hide herself from him ..she has qualities of both women .. she is a normal lady who has some dreams which doesnot match with reality and she understand this now... ...hopefully she doesn't remain silent and pours her heart out in front of her husband ..

.... as you mentioned Pain and storm of thoughts, hurt and fear... they need that space and time and they need that distance from one another along with that closeness, otherwise it will be an outburst, it popped out little in Dev's mind when he realized about her pregnency. so the mind was ready to fly to catch on all those unpleasure dots, so they needed that interference , because my Rahdika won't be able to give a direct answer, because she might have not even thought about all those what is going on his mind. so I needed that limited space and few people and then the lonely time in that car, for them to calm down, or may see each other,..

also few of you mentinoed about that long conversation.....long conversation, But that is not going to help my charactors at this time .... long conversation won't bring anything solid. Yes, it may answer few questions, but it won't bring that maturity in relationship. It comes thru situations, small talks, interactions, smile... because as I said, Radhika did run away,, but her mind set up was totally different and it is different, so she may remain silent for his questions,

.... so maybe seeing changes in her, he will also control his thoughts, his questions.. may take this time to give her comfort, that he failed to give her earlier, maybe the driver's talk and the interactions happened in this two days will bring change in his actions too. Even though his mind was flying to see Radhika, he passively gone thru those situations, he heard the driver. he saw this couple who is living in limited space happily, so now the active thinking will come.

Sita Urmila talk.. yes, you are right. But now that question is repeating in Suchi's mind, so she maybe the one who is going to answer it, for her own comfort, as she missed to catch on Radhika's delima at that time. so it will come with suchi and Radhika talk. I think..

as you said, knots are still needs to be open ,a nd Radhika will open up too. but she may take that time, don't know whether she will act in front of everyone, chance is rare. so this couple really need help, help of their family to move on and that is not their failure, that will be their relaization.

as you said change happened, and it did not happen in one day, it happened over time, so it may take some time to get back into their world too..

Why We Disagree

I will tell you a little story. You have heard the eloquent speaker who has just finished say, "Let us cease from abusing each other," and he was very sorry that there should be always so much variance.

But I think I should tell you a story that would illustrate the cause of this variance. A frog lived in a well. It had lived there for a long time. It was born there and brought up there, and yet was a little, small frog. Of course the evolutionists were not there then to tell us whether the frog lost its eyes or not but, for our story's sake, we must take it for granted that it had its eyes, and that it every day cleansed the water of all the worms and bacilli that lived in it with an energy that would do credit to our modern bacteriologists. In this way it went on and became a little sleek and fat. Well, one day another frog that lived in the sea came and fell into the well.

"Where are you from?"

"I am from the sea."

"The sea! How big is that? Is it as big as my well?" and he took a leap from one side of the well to the other.

"My friend," said the frog of the sea, "how do you compare the sea with your little well?"

I am a Hindu. I am sitting in my own little well and thinking that the whole world is my little well. The Christians sit in their little well and think the whole world is their well. Radhika tried to get the book form him but he moved it away. The driver stopped the car near a shop

Driver: sir, can we take a break

Dev: yes

They got down and it was getting late evening.

Dev: Radhika, what you want ?

Radhika: nothing

Dev: ok then, I will get you some soda

suddenly Radhika : plain water is fine

Dev with a smile: um and went to the store and brought one plain water bottle and then a soda for himself. He looked back and found her taking few steps towards the outer space from the shop. Making faster steps he went near : here giving the water bottle in her hand

Her hair was getting more messy with the wind and the waviness, she opened the bottle and took few sips. Dev just watched her action. After gulping it down, she unknowingly rubbed on her lower tummy. Dev was sipping on that soda, but his eyes caught her action. He looked down and found that bulge as she was wearing a pink fitted churidar. Then she took her duppatta out and then laying it over she covered her chest and her abdomen nicely. Again she took few sips.

Dev: Radhikaaaaa

She looked at him

Dev: are you ok .....his voice reflected his concern, his face expressed his longing

Radhika nodding her head , looked down to the ground and took few more steps to the front.

Dev paused for a second and then walked near to her, the driver called out and they came back near the taxi.

He looked at the driver: so how long it may take?

Driver: Usually people take train or long bus, rarely we get this chance Sir. May be another four more hours.

Dev: oh ok

Driver: where you want me to stop for dinner

Dev: any nice place. No problem.

Driver: sure sir.

Dev watched him and found him concentrating on his driving.

Dev slowly moved near to her side. Radhika just gave a corner smile feeling his closeness , and Dev also just gave a corner smile. then again looking at the driver, he slowly turned slightly to her side and then his hand just moved in. his fingers touched her flank and she jerked slightly, but then it slowly slide under her duppatta and rested on her lower tummy...

He paid the taxi fair and the thanking them the driver left. Dev carried her suitcase, and she held her shoulder bag, she stood in same place, unable to take those steps. Dev walking front, paused realizing her absence, and then turning back "Rahdika, come"

She slowly moved her heavy legs and reached near him, and then walked along with him. After waiting few seconds , and taking a deep breath, he knocked on that door.

"ye hey my son is here, huh u , he is here, Suchiiii...... you are right, they are here'

Dev stood in shock, soon came the face of Mohan, and Rohini too.

Dev: dad!!!

Surender: come come, where is our RAhdika and then coming out and holding her hand, come beta, come.

Radhika walked in with surrender, Suddenly Mohan grabbed her hand and hugged his daughter and then releasing her he went and hugged Dev tightly

Dev was unable to speak anything out, seeing everyone around

Surender: what! Looking at Dev's puzzled face "you tried to give us surprise, you are a fool Dev, whom you told to keep the secret? , your mom!, the next minute she called me and said and see , I cancelled everything and I am here, and I only told her to call Mohan too, you don't know how long we are waiting to see you guys, miss you a lot my son" saying that he hugged his son tight

Surender moving back looking at his face , with a smile: that, your project got launched without any issue, and you got your leave sanction, and coming in next flight.

Rohini: see , Radhika, she became so silent. I can't believe this.

Surrender: look at their face, both look very tired too, as if they came by our local bus,, not by flight.

Dev:where is mom?

Dev walked near to there and found Suchi standing in front of the Idols picture, folding her hands together, with closed eyes. She might have heard the door knock, she might have heard that talk. But she ..

Seeing this surrender: Suchi, atleast now you smile dear. Then looking at Dev: you know what my son., she is totally angry with you that you didn't call here for long, but don't worry, your Radhika passed in that exam, so it is only you, who may needs to face the punishment, it may take some time for her to forgive you.

Surrender: see now they are one, why I made that statement then ....arre, this is not fair, the one who talked to you standing far away, and I know .....I know, your son knows how to bring you on his side. Um, that is not fair, not fair at all....

Radhika felt like a sharp knife stabbing her heart and breaking it into pieces, but she controlled with a forceful smile on her face, she bend down to take her blessing. Suchi held her shoulder and nodded her head, signaling not to do that.

"my blessings are always with you, for that you don't need to touch my feet" and gave a quick loose hug.

Surrender looked at suchi and her words sound so strange for him, he looked at Mohan and Rohini , but found them smiling happily.

Surender: they might be very tired. Go freshen up and come, go...., look at their face.

Rohini standing near Mohan , watching them going up : Radhika looks more thin and tired, right?

Suchi: let me get the food ready.

Dev opened the door for her and Radhika with little hesitation took her step in.

Dev: Radhika, you fresh up quick , ok. I need to see mom.

Radhika nodded her head agrement..

She bend down to open the suitcase, as Dev took his steps down stairs.

Surrender: they are in kitchen, feeling so hungry, go get fresh up qick and come beta

Dev ,then only realized they were waiting for them for long..

Susrender: what! But then with a smile; o i know, what you get in this flight, you think that is diddner. At least think of your mom, she cooked for you guys, go get fresh up, ok.

Dev with a relief: ha dad, Radhika is taking shower, let me see mom

Surender: Dev, go, use Lechu's room. She will be back only day after. You go beta, please

When he came back he saw Rohini sitting with Radhika in their room, and found them talking. He saw Rohini smiling wide and then getting up from the bed, she held Radhika's hand and brought her down with her, Rohini passed a shy smile passing Dev, Dev looked at them surprisingly.

Rohini getting down called out: Suchi, suchiiiii

Surender and mohan looked at rohini, Suhci was arranging the glass on the table

Rohini bringing her near

Suchi, we need to share the sweet too

Suchi looked at her confusingly'

"you are going to be dadi soon"

Suchi just looked passively

Standing behind Surender and Mohan: WHAT!!

Suchi smiled wide shyly, The sound of happiness was echoing in that small dining room. Dev came down and Mohan just hugged him tight again

Surender: then why did you take that risk to travel at this time beta. And why you didn't tell us early?

Mohan munching on to food : simple, the same reason. If we know about this, we won't' agree with their travel. So now we don't have any other option left. Then looking at Radhika" she might be the one, who prevented Dev from telling this happy news to us early, as she might have been waiting for long to come here"

Surrender , looking at Radhika: but still it s a risk beta, such a long journey and..

Suchi didn't say anything and just chewed on that food silently

Suchi kept silence

Mohan: bolona bhabhi, is it was ok?

Rohini: but still, it is a risk na, especially with the first baby. Appa ppa, I can't even think of flying over that, then .. looking at Radhika: it was a risk Radhika

Surrender; ha that is right, they are here safe, then what to worry for now then looking at Dev "when you need to go back beta

Suddenly the silence engulfed the atmosphere. But then to bring the cheer up

The talk went on and Dev noted Radhika hardly munching on anything, she did the same at the hotel too, not eating. Rohini asked her too, but then Dev also supported saying that they had dinner in flight.

Rohini : Radhika, I will come, let me help Suchi first, ok

Dev: no maaji, you can go with Radhika, I am fine, I will help mom

Rohini: par

Dev: don't worry, I will help mom, aap jayiyena

Rohini went along with Radhika to their room.

Surender and Mohan went to main hall. Dev started helping mom with clearing out everything. As he entered kitchen, he looked around and then found suchi washing the dishes. He went near and called out "mom"

Suchi turned and she also scanned around and looked at him

Dev in few minutes, said everything about, how he found her , and where she was, and how they reached here.

Suchi took a deep sigh: Thank God, she was in a safer place.

Dev: ha mom, I thanked Matha ji too.

Suchi: um. You might be tired, now go take rest.

Suchi: I called them, I didn't had any other option. I wished you to come, but it was just my wish, and I don't wanted to keep everything in me, so I called him and I called Mohan bahyya too, so in case, if you are not here on time, I decided to tell them , so that they can decide on how to proceed with things. beta, I imagined lekshmi in Radhika's place and what if the same happen to her, I want to know about it, let it be anybody's fault, but I want to know what happened to my daughter, I gave two more days, but before that you came. I told them , you may be coming soon, but don't know the time. So Mohan bhayya and Rohini came too, as they were desperate to see you two. Birju and chameli is there with dadi, Rahul has exam. So now they may go back tomorrow.

Rohini: Radhika feeling very tired, so I asked her to take rest.

Suchi: good, she may need that sleep

Rohini: is everything is over here

Suchi: ha done. \

Rohini: really dev, you should have told us, we understand this situation beta. No need to listen to Rahdika's tantrums all the time, I know her well.

Dev: no maaji, we wanted to come and see everyone

Rohini: but this was not a good time beta

Suchi: no Rohini, this is better. I am glad they are here now. They may need our help.. you know. He may go busy with his work and what Radhika will do sitting alone. So it is good, now we know them well.

Their little talk went on.

Surender: ok then, let dev also take some rest

Mohan: ha, now Surender, we may leave early, you all come oneday , back in Chandenpur ok

Surnder: why so early?

Mohan: you know the condition there. Poor Chameli and Birju, how much they can run with everything. And I am sure rahul won't listen to them and..So

They talked for few more minutes and everyone retired to their respective rooms.

Dev came to his room, the lights were turned off. The bed lamp was on. He saw her laying on her side wearing a prnted cotton house coat. Closing the room tight, he came near the window and opened it for fresh air to move in. looked at the moon, still smiling at him the same way.

the story that Vivekand ji narrated, it is related to different religion, but it can be easily comapred to one's own mind and thinking..., imagine only myself in that limited space and not giving space and time for the next person in our life. That is our ignorence, not the conscious aviodance, so once we realize our ignorence, we will win as a son, as a daughter, as a mother or father, as a husband or as a wife. Ignorence can be justified and corrected but conscious avoidence cannot be....
