I do not think Geet would think that way. She knows her Maan too well that he will emerge himself in work to avoid the pain.

So Dadi is trying to do the same. She will come up with good idea and that way the role of dadi has been enhanced a little.

I think after this terrific tregedy they will not bring any misunderstanding.. Just Maaneet try to come out with every one's help...
