SaharaOne is gearing up for the launch of its new daily drama, Suno... Har Dill Kuch Kehta Hai.
The show is loosely based on Mel Gibson's romantic comedy, What Women Want. But in this case, the protagonist is a woman, not a man.
Reading minds
Playing Gibson's role is Niyati Joshi, who was earlier seen in Ek Ladki Anjani Si and Kuch Love Kuch Masti.
"My character's name is Ambika and she's capable of reading the minds of men. I am shown to be a born on a holy day, which is why these powers have been bestowed on me. I am a designer and have a boutique of my own."
How was it working on the show? "It's great fun. My mom is also excited about it. The best part is that any member of the family can sit down and enjoy it." The actress doesn't plan to take on any more work right now.
"I am really happy as I have a lead role. At the moment, there is no time for any other project."
Produced by Contiloe, the show is slotted as a daily, to go on air at 10 pm, from April 10.
We quizzed Niyati on some leading men…
Salman Khan: "I think he's damn handsome." Riteish Deshmukh: "Marathi mulga." Shah Rukh Khan: "King of Bollywood." Emraan Hashmi: "Kissing expert."
