Behenein team enjoyed Macao outing

The entire team of Behenein had a memorable time at The Venetian Macao where they partied with other STAR Parivaar members and met hordes of fans.

All four sisters were in great spirits for the most awaited event for the actors. They enjoyed the performance as much as the enjoyed the shopping. Read on as they rave about the STAR Parivaar Awards.

The proud producer J.D.Majetia marveled at the arrangements and the fact that this year STAR Parivaar Awards has taken the standard of television awards a notch higher by going to an international venue. He says: "It was a memorable event which was well organized by the channel and all the parivaar sadasyas got an opportunity to bond. For me, it was a historic and grand television event. We all really felt like a family. It resembled a big fat family wedding. The atmosphere was very festive. The wonderful part was that though we were at a foreign locale, at the Venetian Macao hotel, I used to find an Indian every single minute. It felt so good to meet all the Indians and non Indians who love watching Behenein there."

Purva says: "I am glad and thankful to STAR Parivaar team for this much awaited experience. We were all happy to be nominated which was an award in itself. The entire trip was fun and enjoyable. Smriti and I indulged in shopping, especially footwear as we have a fetish for them. She even purchased some cool shoes for her mom. We bought clothes and accessories too. Though we enjoyed shopping, we were also touched after meeting fans from Indonesia and Bangkok. Their response was overwhelming. They told us they came to Macao only to meet STAR Parivaar sadasyas. I don't know how a group of Singapore girls recognised us, as we were not in our character costumes, but we were happy to pose for photos and give autographs to them. I want to thank the entire STAR team for this adventure."

Further she adds: "After shopping to our heart's content, we had a ball dancing before the awards function. Our team enjoyed themselves on the dance floor. I met Suhana's mother who complimented me on my beauty and dance. She had seen Aakashi at the rehearsal and said Aakashi is completely different from others and a natural. Aakashi danced on the song Aiye Meharbaan at the awards. She was cool and elegant. In the song, the dancers used a huge fan as prop, which wasn't Indian in style but suited the song and the mood. I missed going to Red Market, which I was told later is very famous and has everything under the sun. I plan to shop there, the next time I visit Macao."

The other star of Behenein, Anokhi talks about her experience in Macao. "It was a mind blowing experience. First of all, I want to thank the whole team of STAR Plus and STAR Parivaar who organised this grand Parivaar get together. Before the performance, I met Akshara's dadi and it was really nice talking to her. I even took the blessings before my performance. Later I went shopping and bought a variety of wallets and three cool t-shirts. I fell in love with the city and wanted to buy everything. Many Indians recognised us and clicked photographs with us. It was nice meeting all the fans. Overall, our entire team loved the whole STAR Parivaar Awards, Macao experience as it was something we never imagined."

Aakashi too gushes: "Our Macao trip was awesome. I want to thank STAR Plus team and The Venetian Macao who made our stay perfect. We got love and support from everyone over there. I was completely bowled over by the hospitality of staff at Venetian Macao. I want all you people to watch my performance. I did not get enough time for sightseeing because of rehearsals and interviews but I enjoyed the experience with the rest of STAR Parivaar sadasyas."
