sorry for posting this here..but could someone please tell me what it means to be a viewbie???? thanks in advance

Viewbie is someone who is like an assistant moderator - or a moderator in the making.

They can close or lock topics, attach stickies, order people 😆 etc.

In Anol's words - they are the Pandu hawaldar to the moderator's Inspector.

A viebie is someone who does alot of hard work but unfortonatly the work the mods do sort of un does the work the viebie does.

I know that made no sense.

But to the people that it made sense to ... its just my honest opinion😊

Oh and I have another question ... how does someone become a viebie? I mean soulsoup is doing a great job but I feel he needs more people along side him. Especially when the mods are acting the way they are now.

Well can anyone tell me what is the benefit in get promotion to viewbie or any higher grade…..Pssss do they get financial benefits….and what r the criteria to get promoted….Plzz mods do not take my innocent enquiry too critically. I just wanted to know the IF functions. And another Q plz why we get marks/ nos. whatever under our AV and what is the ultimate marks/nos.

The part on usergroups is around the middle of the page. As far as viewbies are concerned - you have to ask mods, and only the mods and admin can consider you for promotion to viewbie.

The benefits are at your own benefits. Meaning its just a job and a challenge you take on ... if you like doing all that sort of stuff then its a big benefit and if you don't then there is no benefit in becoming a viewbie.

Remember Viewbie's are the future mods and so if you wan't to be the moderator of this section then you need to go through a viewbie (its like trainning)

Ummm... I am not sure of the financial benefits, you may need to ask the mods for that info ... but I doubt there is any.

About the number of posts ... the are unlimited and so you can post as much as you want up here.
