I just think that KKHH was a lot more 'powerful.'

But that's not to say DDLJ wasn't.

But I think SRK really played with his role better in KKHH. He played a fun loving lover as well as a serious sweet father. :-) Had a lot more of emotions!

DDLJ for sure, an unselfconscious, innocent story about two kids in love. KKHH was just way too emotionally manipulative for me to take it seriously and seemed more about style than about people. In fact, most of Johar's work seemed more focused on "Lookee! We can afford RALPH LAUREN costumes. We're RICH!" than on charming characters or heartfelt stories.
