Family Backround
I hail from a middle class family. My father was in the army.
During he was doing his duty & serving the country he passed away. I was just 8 years old. I experienced my childhood in the city Lucknow with my mother & my sister.
I started to have interest in acting since I completed my science graduation. From then my inclination towards theatre & acting began.
Talent & acting
After doing theatre for 10 years in Lucknow with Indian people theatre association (IPTA) i came into doing films & television. I had even done work with 8 theatre groups in Lucknow. Theatre helps an actor become more impactful,skilled & confident & it is proven fact. Today there so many domain to learn acting but talent is the main source for sustainance.
The journey from theatre to films...
I trained In Bharatendu theatre academy in 2000, with that I also learnt many folk dance varying from Assam folk dance to Maharashtra, Bihar so on which were really special. It is also very important to have command over different languages so I also went on to do a course in
Hindi,English,Bhojpuri,Avadhi-lanuage of Lucknow), Urdu & maharshatra language which are prominent. If an actor knows several languages it further helps you in your acting skills. I can bring more than 20 diiferent voice of animals & also do mimickery of veteren actors.

Where do you find yourself in city Mumbai?
I came to Mumbai in 2001 & i found out that nobody
helps you without any reason. I would like to take
name of my freind Vrijesh who helped me in Mumbai
in initial stages. The first thing I bought was a film
directory & started to contact people from the
industry, Travelled with the local trains in which
on a daily basis more 10 lacs people travel, I had
learnt the ways of life line local trains but still
learning... Now after so many years it feels like
this city was made for me because I don't feel & think
anything else other than acting...
