Karisma Kapoor competing with Kareena Kapoor?

😕 Karisma Kapoor is busy doing endorsements and judging t.v. shows. Not to mention, she has had two kids and is a married woman. Would people care to see her in a comeback film competing with Kareena Kapoor? I highly doubt it. Kareena is at the top of her game with all the big-banner films. Karisma and Kareena could come in a film together. An actress who has been out of the movies for years now does not generate enough interest like she used to.

If Karisma Kapoor were to comeback today, could she compete with her sister? Would you find that appealing or a major turn-off? 😆

Come on, please share your thoughts on Karisma Kapoor competing with Kareena Kapoor.

arre why are u doing the medias job for them? let them worry abt this stuff

how can there be a competition between sisters, especially since they are very close? im sure karishma supports kareena & vice versa & kareena will be happy for karishma if she wants to make a come back into films

& its karishma's choice, if she wants to then why not?

btw. the way i see it the only reason why kareena is in the "top of her game" is becos of big banner movies with big stars

hardly any effort needs to be put in by her which shows IMO 😆

I guess I love to do analysis on stuff like this! Kareena is simply a very verstaile actress. I don't even think Karisma could get the films that Kareena gets right now! I know they are both close in real life, but family members compete if you are in the same industry regardless. If Karisma were to comeback, I think it should be with her sister. Then, the public can get reacquainted with her again after so many years away from the big screen! 😃😃😃

oh! i think there can be a LOT of competition between sisters who grow up in show biz specially...

kareena and karishma are really close, but i do think if karishma gives a hit then they might feel the friction.

@ gonforever: i think karishma can pull the audiences; as she is a kapoor, can act and was popular before her marriage. specially with sallu, there can be a hit they can deliver. its the hits that matter anyways right.. she might not be able to compete with kareena who is a "brand" but i do think she might be able to sustain in B-wood and plus endorsements show that she isnt completely out of the public eye, so she can deliver a hit.

Well, Karisma was not able to pull in the audiences before marriage because a lot of movies flopped: Shakti-The Power, Baaz-A Bird in Danger, Rishtey, Mere Jeevan Saathi, Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya, etc. I think she gave up and eventually did a t.v. show and endorsements. I guess she figured the public was not interested in her anymore and they loved Kareena more. And breaking off her engagement with Abhishek also hurt her immensely and gave her a bad image. However, it has been years since that breakoff and if she does a comeback, she has to do it right. Hopefully, her comeback won't be like what happened with Madhuri or some others who have attempted at doing something substantial. 😃

@goneforever: Oh! she did Tv?? word.... i didnt know.. but she has done well the the khans, hasnt she?? and isnt she friends with sallu, SRK?? so maybe she can do a movie with them...

its all in the hit movies isnt it?? the minute she gives a HIT, ppl will flock to her, and YRF will give her a 3 film deal!

She only did a couple of films with Shahrukh (well, if you count that cameo in Shakti - The Power). DTPH was the only real film she did with Shahrukh. Salman was her perfect costar! But, Salman is doing films with the younger heroines now! I don't think she can star with the Khans in a lead role anymore. Perhaps if YRF does a movie with her, it would be with Kareena as well, not a solo project. I doubt she is going to sign a film anytime soon. Let's wait and watch! 😛

Only cause she's married and has two kids. I can't remember a lot of Karishma work's (outside of the Govinda movies) but she was a decent actress when she was required to deliver on screen. She could easily be doing some really good roles if given the opportunity, I think.
