Everyone is crying. Sarju and Kesoo are carrying a body. Radha picks the cloth off the body. Jamuna is dead. Radha screams.
Radha wakes up. It was only a dream.
Jamuna decides to run away. She packs her bags. Radha goes into Jamuna's room. Radha asks Jamuna where she was going. Jamuna says she was getting water. Radha tells Jamuna to sit down. Radha notices there was already water in the jug. Radha says she wants to sleep with Jamuna today. Jamuna decides to run away the next day.
Everyone is talking and laughing. Sarju jokes about the preassure cooker. A man comes and invites them for a pooja in the mandir (Temple). Jamuna says she doesen't want to go. Phoolmani and Chaachi arrive. Phoolmani annoys Mai and Jamuna by saying what is the point in Jamuna going to the pooja only pairs can sit in the pooja. Everyone goes.
Jamuna thinks about her husband and she thinks about what Phoolmani's words.
Jamuna takes her bag and goes.

A lady asks Jamuna where she is going and why she has a bag.
