I have been reading a lot of posts lately about how Geet's character has become too childish and stubborn in the recent days... so I decided to give it a little analysis...
Everyone is annoyed with Geet for being such a brat, not listening to maan, and making Maan bow to her every demand.
Agreed!!! It's annoying - But... Not NEW!!!
She has been that way consistently. Stubborn, childish, too quick to judge, and foolish, until after the fact, when she realizes that she was wrong.
Some examples below:
Day 1 at the office - She was hell bent on not going home in Maan's car even though goons were after her, it was late at night, and she wasn't able to find a taxi. (She agreed when Maan yelled and reasoned with her)
At the outhouse office - She remained stubborn to work with Sasha to stay away from Maan without realizing maan was trying to protect her from the Hoshiyarpur project. Maan ki ek nahi suni usne.
In Hoshiyarpur - Maan told her repeatedly to stay away from the Rasika case, but who was going to listen to him? Chal padi apne aap... Maan even told her there (Ab samaj mein aaya ki tumhari problem kya hai - tumhari record atak jaati hai, uske baad tumhe kuch bhi sunaai dena ya samaj aana band ho jaata hai)
So many other instances in which if maan doesn't get strict with her, or reason with her, she just doesn't listen. This is not a new thing. She is shown as little childish from the beginning.
But what's true is that Maan has definitely gotten softer around her. She is not well, she has suffered through so much in life, he wants to give her all happiness. So he is for now bowing down to all her childish demands... even yesterday, he let her drive that car even though he knew it was sheer stupid, because he was trying to cheer her up throughout the whole episode anyway.
