Kareena Kapoor's attitude is just fine: Mona Singh

While her last release Utt Pataang might have not faired too well at the box-office, actor Mona Singh remains undaunted. The cheerful actor is now looking forward to her next film with Vinay Pathak called Lakshman Rekha, which is a rom-com.

"I have always loved Vinay's work and wanted to work with him. In fact, I would say that it's a treat to work with him! When Utt Pataang came along, I grabbed the offer immediately and now, I'm looking forward to Lakshman Rekha where Vinay plays Lakshman and I play Rekha," offers Singh.

The actor admits to having a tough time shooting for Utt Pataang. "It was such a challenge for me, as I had to play this serious character and I am the opposite in real life! While people around me kept laughing, I had to maintain a serious face," she offers. In fact, because of her nature, Singh is called Mona Happy Singh more often than not, she adds.

The actor, who is on her third film now, however can't forget the experience while shooting for her first. "While shooting for 3 Idiots, I had expected everyone to come with baggage of attitude. But, infact I had to call my friends and family to tell them that Kareena is sweet. Boman too was very supportive and the superstar himself, Aamir Khan, came up to me and said that he had watched Jassi," informs Singh,who was pretty touched at the gesture.

When not doing films, Singh is pretty busy with her role as an anchor. Currently, she is not looking to do any saas-bahu serials, as they require too much time. "At this stage, I can't do without a regular off and anchoring is something that I enjoy, because I get to be myself. I don't follow any scripts and have no inhibitions whatsoever. Initially, when I started anchoring, I was quite nervous and did not know how to go about things. But now people ask me for advice,"she signs off.

mona khud hi itni chirpy or bindaas hai i dont think its not difficult to gel with her...

abt kareena, ya i brelieve her, but in her starting days she was kind of arrogant and rude but now its all fine i heard.

lol that's the perception every actress have about kareena. They think she is all arrogant but when they work with her they get surprised. That's the same thing Koko said when she worked with Bebo in Omkara. She said she believed what the media writes about her and she was a bit scared going into it...but than after she worked with kareena she said bebo was sweet and they got along well! Kareena also got along with PC when they were working on Aitraaz. The only actress she had a problem with was Bips from what I recall!

I so agree.....it will take a very cranky person not to get along with Mona!😳
As for Kareena, I think she has mellowed over the years....she had a MAJOR attitude problem during the early 2000s, but a string of flops and maybe her relationship with Shahid showed her some ground realities. I was shocked to see her humbly admit on KWK season 1 that she has had 12 flops in a row.😊

arrogant or not, she is very honest. that's what i love abt her. i think ppl take her honesty as her arrogance ( n attitude). she's better than all these fake actoresses anyways 😊
