Salman Khan, who was set free on bail, arrived at the Mumbai airport from Jodhpur at around 8.20 p.m yesterday. From there he came straight home to Galaxy Apartments, along with his brother Sohail Khan. He looked happy and fresh and was sporting a light blue T- shirt and denim jeans.
Innumerable fans were queued up outside Salman's house since afternoon. When the news of his arrival spread among them, fans organised drums, bouquets, and cake for their "Sallu bhai". As soon as he arrived home, he went to the balcony to wave to his fans.
The police on duty at the venue roughed up media persons and fans. As soon as Salman was seen on the balcony, fans started playing their drums loudly, yelling out Salman's name and cheering him wildly. Salman was seen standing with his family members, including Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Khan, Amrita Arora and others. Salim Khan and Salma Khan the star's parents, were waiting for him inside. Salman kissed Arbaaz's son who came running to Salman saying, " Chachu aa gaya" (Uncle's back).
While Salman was waving to the crowds, a fan, Imraan, aged 20, from Faridabaad, scaled the wall of the actor's house and reached out to Salman to hug and kiss him. Salman was initially hesitant, but finally embraced his fan.
After Imraan greeted Salman, a couple of other fans too tried to climb the wall of Salman's house and reached out to their favourite star. A nervous Salman requested his fans not to climb the wall and risk their lives for him. Ultimately, the situation went out of control and Salman was escorted back to his room, which left most of his fans disappointed.
The fans had also arranged a cake to welcome their star. In their desperation to hand over the cake to him, and failing to get an opportunity to do so, the fans threw the cake on the actor's car.
