Television actors Shalini Kapoor and Rohit Sagar had their first child last week. "It's a baby girl," informed an elated Shalini.

The proud parents have named their bundle of joy Aadiya. "I am a very strong believer of Ma Durga. Like Shalini, even Aadiya is one of the names my favourite Goddess," she said. While Shalini is recuperating from a C-section, Rohit is currently in Russia.

"Aadiya has been extremely lucky for Rohit. Since I conceived her, Rohit has been flooded with work." Shalini plans to take a sabbatical from work for at leas six months. "I owe it to the baby," she said.

I hope that answers a lot of questions about why Geet's parents track is not being brought back or why were her parents were missing from her marriage when her Darjee was there 😊 We always donno behind the scene scenarios and yet we start blaming CVs and team if things don't go according to how we want to see it.. 😊
