For Bani, her sense of love has always overtaken her sense of what is right and wrong!
I still remember the beautiful and deep line that Bani tells Pushkar, when Rano had to be admitted to the hospital and Bani had to sell off her Mount Abu House for the Hosptial Fee...."Zindagi hume kabhi kabhi aise do rahe par la khada karti hai, jahan hume humare Pyaar aur humare Moral's ke beech ek ko chun na padta hai, aur hamesha jeet Pyaar ki hi hoti hai..." For Bani, her house was her Self-respect, her standing in life, but she had to sell it, because her love for Rano preceded it....
Inspite of knowing what pain and hurt that Jai has been going through, Bani ends up doing something, which she knew would completely devastate Jai.....she got Pia and Pushkar married ....that too in Jai's House....there is certainly no better revenge, no worse humiliation and certainly no harder heart-break that Jai could have got from Bani....there is a saying in Hindi, "Sau Sonar ki aur Ek Lohar Ki" which means that a Goldsmith has to hit Gold 100 times before it becomes malleable and an Iron-smith has to hit just once on the hot iron for it to change its shape!
Jai did everything possible to stop Pia and Pushkar's wedding, pulled all stops, used every possible connection he could come up with, got muscle power, brain power...everything he could do but in just one blow, Bani overruled all that he did......and defeated him in his own turf!
But inspite of Bani winning this round, has she really won? She might have become great in the eyes of Pia and Pushkar and all those who stood for their so-called "Love" but what about her own eyes...hasn't Bani fallen down in her own eyes....hasn't she decieved and betrayed Jai the way Pia and Pushkar did? Or maybe not, Bani might not have done all this to spite Jai or to make him lesser in front of others...infact I am certain Bani did all this only so that she could make Jai see the futility of his all-consuming anger and hatred, which is not only making a living hell out of other's lives but also eating him up!
I cannot say anthing about Jai's reaction...he has gone through too much in the past few days...and all said and done, he is the one who has been victimized and betrayed....by those who were closest to his heart. He said it all yesterday, when he tells Mohan that one broke his trust, one broke his heart and one stole his love....and all the three were the people whom he cherished the most!
Now the ball is in Jai's Court.....he can play it the way he wants to! He can go ballistic with anger and do something drastic to Bani, Pia and Pushkar, as in physically harm them....but I am sure he won't do it or rather cannot do it, because there would be people around Jai to stop him...
Secondly, he can just go into a shock-mode and become a recluse, as his whole point of getting revenge from Pia and Pushkar has been defeated, he wanted to stop them from getting married, but now that they have, there is really no point in doing any further harm....he has lost and he knows it, its all a matter of how gracefully he accepts the reality!
Third and most interesting possibility is that Jai does what Mohan advices him to do...he pays back Bani, Pia and Pushkar by the same coin...sometimes what physical harm cannot achieve, can be done to devastating proportions by emotions...a heart-breaking is far more dangerous than a limb breaking.....he knows that Bani is the biggest strengh for Pia and Pushkar and by harming her, he would achieve his target in just one go....and he also knows that, by now, Bani is certainly no walk-over and he really, really underestimated her....remember the first time Jai and Bani meet, Bani has mistakenly fallen down on Jai's feet and he tells her that he hates people who fall on his feet because they are the one who take the ground of the feet.....exactly what has happened...of all the people in the World, the last person Jai thought would break his trust, challenge him and win over him was Bani! But Jai understand Bani as well as she does, he knows that for her Love is the greatest thing of all....and if she can go to such extent for the love of her sister, she can do far more for the man she will love.....Jai is certainly going to make Bani fall in love with him....maddeningly in love....and then destroy her with the same love....😭I don't think Jai cares what happens to Pia and Pushkar now, they are his life's most painful but closed chapter and now all that is left is settling down scores with the person who dared to cross his way and make him lose.....😔
But I would also like to add that I know Bani did all this without any spite or malice towards Jai...she did it because she loved and wanted to protect Pia and Pushkar and not because she hated Jai or wanted to harm him in anyway!And also, Jai should now come back to reality and whether he accepts Bani as his wife or not (I thought he did, going by his expressions in the Temple) he should accept that howmuch ever wrong Pia and Pushkar have done to him, what has been done cannot be redone now...and by forgiving them, he will only be proving himself to be the magnamious and wonderful human being that he is....especially in Bani's eyes!
Don't know what is going to happen.....but the serial is certainly at its most interesting best these days....just hope they don't let the tempo down....and also please do guess Jai's first reaction to Pia and Pushkar's marriage today!
