He became breathless in 5mins of his attempt to accept her as Geet. He had stopped breathing & just left from there before collapsing. He drove madly as far as he could go, remembering each & every bday he had with his angel, his life, his love, he didn't understand wat was it he couldn't relate to, she now wore the dress wat he liked, not loud make-up she always smiled at him lovingly, GGRRRR 😡😡😡😡he hated the thought how could, he see love in those eyes, even if she did, how could he, how could his eyes see love else where..no he could just kill his eyes to have seen someone else's feeling, reading someone else's eyes....how can he... but she is Geet his mind responded...NO NO NO ...his heart cried.. u checked her passport.. I don't need papers to know my heart beat his heart spat...again the endless war between his mind soul & heart making his life hell.

Maan stayed up in gurgaon flat. The engagement was just in few days.. he couldn't still convince his heart to accept her as Geet. Now it was becoming very difficult for him. He tried checking her degree certificates. He did every thing to convince his heart but it hated it, it only gave him more pain & more hyped disbelief. He once visited his office. Adhi & Sasha noticed him being so worn out. They didn't bother him with any of the office related matters. They just obeyed his instructions. He didn't much though unlike his usual self. He was slipping into total self destruction.

Daadi planned to send Maan & Geet together to select their engagement rings.
Maan hated the idea of calling her Geet & then the idea of engagement with her, then being with her while they select the ring. Why can't the torture come to an end he cried. He quietly went with her to the jeweler. She looked at few rings, Maan purposefully placed the plain band ring in front of her, hoping she may recognize at least this, now it was his brain doing every thing to convince his heart that she was Geet. For his ill luck is brain failed miserably. But the point was even if his heart agreed she was Geet will he be able to love her. NO big NO rang all over his body. Every part of his rejected her. Was it looks, was it her behavior, wat is it he didn't know, all he knew was he can't love her.

Geet didn't even care to look at the ring instead she was eying one of the most expensive diamond ring. She picked it up instantly & slipped it in her finger - Maan kaise hain

she instantly hugged him & kissed his cheek. He moved back in shock. She actually did wat his wify used to do, pounce at him & kiss his cheek, brain was all thrilled .. heart..NO ..this is not wat it feels when she touches, her touch is magical, heart giving instructions to his brain...check this out...I can just think about that touch & get high, & actually he could feel Geet kissing him madly on his face, he felt a sudden urge growing in his ****. he could think about her touch & feel aroused, here she actually kissed him, & he felt nothing. How can that be, yet again his brain was defeated. All his logic proved against him. After the shopping he dropped her home & went to his den. He closed his eyes & tried to think wat was it different about this ..his heart offered creature...he rolled his closed eyes..

THE ENGAGEMENT
Maan dressed in black suit gulping one drink after the other. Still fighting madly with himself to accept her. Guest one after the other walked in to congratulate them. He didn't stand with her. He stood in the corner aloof still wondering how will he slip the ring into her finger. Its simple..just hold her hand...NO TOUCHING.... uff... ok just hold the ring & '.NO WAYS...how can u put the ring in someone else's finger. Arrey yaar maan ja..woh Geet hi hain... his heart cried ..mainne maana tho bhi tu nahi maan payaga. Oh..sweety tum kanaha ho.. I miss u I miss u so very much...he cried..

his phone rang & he looked at the number hating to answer the call...it was unknown number...
he looked at the unknown number..like some thing with in told him this was Geet...
brain immediately alert & looked for Geet ...he skimmed the crowd & look for her, just hoping... ironically hoping she shouldn't be on the call. .. his heart missed a beat to see she was on the phone...he closed his eyes & answered the call....he heard her breath...he heard her heart beat....every thing in him knew it was her..his life, his soul..he felt like a lump in his heart..so did she...both their breath became tensed ...reflecting each others emotion. His mind still tried to focus on the Geet who stood on the other corner, with the phone in her hand & seemed tensed. While his heart still concentrated on those loving craving beats.. his heart beat it was
