Rano suggested Geet to dress up in Indian style at least now since they were to get married, relatives & friends will be coming over. She gladly switched to wear his choice of cloths. She found out all about his likes & dislikes now which was pretty much the same always. She spend the whole day getting prepared for the wedding. Daadi & Rano got her new jewels & dresses. Geet asked them why Maan was being so aloof, why didn't he involve as much. She started to get restless & tensed.
Geet - mama woh shaadi nahi karna nahi chaten kya
Rano - nahi beta aise koi baat nahi
Geet - humari tho shaadi hogayeen hain na, this is just a formality right
Rano - haan beta
Geet - phir woh itne naraz kyun hain
Rano herself didn't know the reason, she remained mum.
Geet - are we forcing ourselves on him.
Rano - nahi beta aise kuch nahi hain
Geet still didn't seem to understand any thing. She was trying to do every thing the way he liked but he was no where to even acknowledge wat she has done. Finally Geet went to the Gurgaon flat after seeing the spare keys that Rano had.
She was little scared & tensed this was her chance to make or break this relation, she took a long deep breath & rang the door bell. Maan at first thought he is dreaming the door bell sound no one rang that bell sometimes pizza guy that's it. This was a very close den of only Maan & Geet. No one was ever allowed here. He hated anyone coming in here. He pulled the pillow over his head & covered his ears tight. He threw the pillow away in anger when he heard the bell ring again. He walked in rage to see who it was. He saw through the eye hole. He clinched his fist & turned his head..OH God creature yanh a pe bhi mera pecha nahi chod rahi .. sho sho...go away..this is mine & geets house.
All he could do was weakly opened the door, partly.
Maan - umm
Geet - mujhe aap se baat karni hain
he wondered wat is was.
Maan - ek minute
he went inside & changed, took his purse & keys. He came opened the door she tried to walk in, he just stopped her there, something about her, he couldn't bare to let her inside their house. He hated her from bottom of his heart even more than the creatures he thought. ..may be because she claimed to be Geet & she was no where close to her even in the salwar suit. He wondered why did she wear suit, that too his fav color may be just to rub it in.
Maan - hum kanhi bhara chalten hain
she wondered why he didn't let her inside, she was hurt with his rude way of stopping her on the door step.
They drew to a coffee shop. She didn't even seem to notice the bandage in his hand. Finally she did...
Geet - yeh kaise huwa Maan?
Oh God phir se Maan!!! yeh mujhe pagal kardegi. He kept quiet he didn't want to say anything or do anything that would quiet obviously hurt her.. but the fact was if she was Geet she would have died & killed him for his ignorance at the airport itself. Here its been more than a month & she doesn't seem to react.
They walked into the coffee shop & ordered their drinks.
Geet reluctantly - are u regretting our marriage?
He didn't know wat to say.. when were we married..I never married u that was the prompt thing that came to his mind, off course he couldn't voice it, he kept numb.
Geet - jab se main London se ayeen ho, aap teehk se baat hi nahi karten
thats because I hate u , I can't stand any where near u, u sting, u r grouse, grouse than any creature I have ever seen. He definitely couldn't say all that, he just sipped his coffee silently.
Geet - is there some one else in ur life?
That was it.. Geet could never ask him this question, not even if he had she would have asked this, Geet can never never think like this, she trusted him more than herself, his heart never allowed him to hear her, now these words just killed him.
He angrily turned at her - simi..I mean rimi
she was taken a back
Maan - wat ever u r, I can't relate to u.
he just got up & left from there. She couldn't believe he said that to her, to his Geet. She was shattered, all her dreams were drowned. She ran went to home & began to pack hers & Rano's stuffs.
Rano & Daadi got worried & came behind her
Rano - beta kya baat hain
Daadi - tum Maan se milne gayee thi na kya huwa?
Rano - yeh kya kar rahi ho
Geet - mama hum yanh nahi rahenge
Rano - phir kanha rahena hain tumhe
Geet - hum aapne hawali main rahen ge
Rano - yeh kya bol rahi ho tum
Geet - woh humare rishte ko nahi mante tho main kis rishten se unke saat rahoon, rishta chodiya mama, woh tho mujhe hi nahi manthe.
Rano - kya bol rahi ho tum, mujhe kuch samjh nahi aa raha
Geet - mama hawali ki papers kanha hain, lets go there now.
Rano took a deep breath - ek minute I have to speak to Maan first.
Geet - koi fayada nahi, he is not going to listen to any one.
Rano went into the gurgaon flat .. she was shocked to see the wall stained with his blood. She immediately caressed his hand - yah kya hal bana rakha hain beta?
He kept quiet, he had already had few drinks, so he didn't want to say anything to hurt her.
Rano - tumari Geet se aise kay baat hogayee ki she wants to go & stay in hawali
great jise hawali main nahi rahena tha woh hawali main jaake rahna chathi hain, yah koi rimi/simi hain.. meri Geet tho bilkul bhi nahi. He just hit his fist to his head
Rano - mujhe pata nahi how u feel about Geet & me now, but over so many year I have started to think of u as my son, so the thought of staying away from u brought me here.
He was still quiet.
Rano felt really hurt & turned to leave
Maan - I will
she just stopped
Maan - I will get engaged to her now
Rano - nahi beta I don't want to force u into it
Maan - I know that, u never did. Even when I didn't understand anything u never forced me, even today when I do understand every thing still u r not I know, u will not
Rano - phir kya baat hain
Maan - I need some time
Rano sighed in relief seeing Maan considering the relation, but some where she didn't like the mental state he was in. His strong discomfort shook her up totally. The way Maan was withdrawn, she knew how crazy he was about Geet. His behavior made her think unbelievable things.
Maan still didn't take any calls. It was their b-day.
Geet 21 & Maan 26
Daadi had arranged for the havan. Maan came in the morning to attend the havan. He sat through the havan silently. He tried to burn his anguish in the fire there, but it only burned him further. After the havan every one wished & blessed Geet & Maan.
Maan - happy birth day
he looked at her face, he kept his heart & soul aside, just believed all the logic & tried to smile, but he couldn't. He faked a smile. She smiled lovingly. He was cold to her from heart, from deep with in, but superficially tried to be warm.
Geet - happy birthday Maan
this time her saying Maan didn't bother him much, it was like he was getting used being assaulted. He tried his level best to look at her, but his eyes wandered every else. He tried a lot to admire her. It was suffocating, he could probably die in suffocation. He became breathless in 5mins of his attempt to accept her as Geet. He had stopped breathing & just left from there before collapsing.

the precap..engagement..meant instead of wedding he wanted an engagement..please don't bash me...
