Band Baaja Baaraat Team To Take On Saifeenas Agent Vinod

After the heartwarming success of 'Band Baaja Baraat', director Maneesh Sharma is back with his team, in Yash Raj Films'next offering, 'Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl'.
Starring Ranveer Singh, who has won everyone's heart with his endearing and scintillating performance, as well as the Best Actor (Debut) at all the award shows this year, and the accomplished and charismatic Anushka Sharma, the film is produced by Aditya Chopra and is based on a story developed by him. Habib Faisal has written the dialogues, the screenplay is by Devika Bhagat. The music will be composed by Salim-Sulaiman, lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the film will be shot by Aseem Mishra (DOP), all of whom have been a part of 'Band Baaja Baraat' .

'Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl' is a fun-filled "ROM-CON" where a smooth and charming conman, Ricky Bahl, cons girls for a living but finally meets his match.

The film starts shooting early-April with plans to be in theatres worldwide on 9th Dec 2011 (along with Saif-Kareena's 'Agent Vinod'), the same weekend 'Band Baaja Baraat' released.

oh thank god...when i read the title, i thought they changed the director or something....i was like NOOOO....half the reason i was luking forward to this one is coz of sriram raghavan...

LOL! No man, if that was the case I'd wish they just drop the project, lol. But no no, this just means that they're gonna clash. What do you think Smarie? Good choice? ANd who's gonna get affected?

urm..well both movies are not wht i'd call "blockbuster" material...but they are from two good directors and so, should do well if they are both good films...however, if one of them is bad, then the other one will obviously benefit.....in any case, i think AV might do marginally better coz of the good openings..a lot of ppl on twitter are looking forward to it and it was on the most awaited movie of 2011 list aswell...

Ok so here's the thing. There's something kinda shady about her role. Coz she's trying to downplay it and not say anything. If you ask her, what's your role she goes, "I cant tell you. But I'm not playing some bond girl"

^its the only hope left for bebo fans as far as performance oriented roles is concerned!! 🤔😆...so if shes playing a stereotypical glam doll/ bond girl/ come b4 a song and go away role.....then *bangs head against wall*

Her character works for a bunch of corporate honchos who want to rake in the profits from a war-like scenario in the Asian subcontinent. But she is actually a spy for the Pakistani government.
