frnds in one of the paper named, Vartha (hindi) there was a Interview of Rubina Dilaik about her recent comeback nd life, so m posting it. The interview was in Hindi but I will post it in English..

4 years back, she was selected for Miss Shimla and presently she has made a comeback with the Zee Tv's story Choti Bahu, in the lead character named Radhika, its time for celebration for the actress, Rubina Dilaik. The reason for this is that when the serial shut after running for a long time successfully, she had tears in her eyes, but she did not know then that this long successful serial which was suddenly closed down would again re-start and she will again re-enter in the same serial in the same role. In Delhi at the temple of ISCON when we met her with the male lead, Avinash Sachdev, the happiness and the glow on her face was to be seen.
I : Did u ever feel that u will again make a comeback in the same serial and in the same role ?
R : No ! I never thought like this, but now this has become my career's and my life's Biggest acheivement and moment. The comeback of Dev and Radhika of Choti Bahu means that people still believes that LOVE NEVER Dies. This is the universe's never uncarved and immortal power. With this thought and on Audience demand we have started this serial again.
I : But other than films, a serial's sequel has not worked ?
R : First of all this serial is not a sequel or we r not showing it again, but we have added new stories and new thoughts and its length has been added to it. Now this is the story of a Place named Rawal, where according to the Indian history Radha and Krishna's ethereal Love had bloomed.
I : What is new in it, due to which people people will be forced to see it again ?
R : Now in this story, Dev and Radhika's love will bloom from their childhood. Keeping the old characters aside, Dev and radhika's story will get attached to Mathura. Now along with this love, relationship, friendship , reality will be attached to it.
I : But what is the main reason to associate it with Mathura ?
R : Actually Radha and Krishna's love is ethereal. Even in the Hindu mythology and traditions, Lord Krishna's and Radha's love was considered as Pure. Therefore Dev and Radhika's character has been also made according to this base itself and Mathura has been the witness of their love (RaDev's love).
I : How do u feel about being so famous ?
R : Can't tell ! Before completing my studies itself my career was made and got famous by being the finalist in the Miss Shimla beauty pageant, and Miss North India and from Choti Bahu. In reality very few people get this kind of Luck. But still I havn't forgotten the struggle and the exam of success meaning of my career.
I : But you have Miss Shimla, Miss Punjab and Miss North title in your account, so instead of TV you should have gone into movies ?
R : Actually I was in my 12th STD at the time when I competed for the Miss Shimla title and then later on when I won the title of Miss North in Chandigarh, by luck Zee Tv's team was auditioning and screening for Choti Bahu. I also applied for it and was chosen. As far as movies are concerned when I get an opportunity I will do it.
I : The news is that even your little sister wants to do acting and before you she was selected for this role ?
R : It is not like that. My sister, Rohinika is also as active as me. She alsokeeps participating in all these competitions along with her studies. Actually she only went to audition for this role, I just gave the audition seeing her.
I : So what is your sister doing now ?
R : Presntly she is completing her studies, but soon she is also going to act in the TV like me.
I : So how is your studies going on now ?
R : I have taken the help of postal coaching. I know that without studies you cannot do anything. I wanted to be an editor, but I always participated in other competitions also. I was a national level champion in debate.
I : Since your family was also associated with this kind of competition, did you get any help from them ?
R : They helped me in taking part in the beauty pageants. Without them, I could have done nothing.
I : And Acting ?
R : For that I did not get any help from anybody. Whatever I learnt, I learnt it from the sets and Choti Bahu only. When I shooted for the first time, I was very nervous, but as time passed I was able to balance with my character and its nature. Now I have completely become Radhika (laughs).
I : What do you think about films ?
R : Right now nothing. Right now I havn't even learnt the A B C of acting also. When I will become an expert I will think about it, but till then I will be in the TV.
I : Do you meet your family ?
R : Very less. Since I am busy in the serial I don't get time, but whenever I get an opportunity, I go to Shimla and Chandigarh.
