DISTRACTION!
RECAP: Taani reaches her class and settles down, she finds out that she has an assembly to attend with the whole school. While going down the stairs she falls but someone saves her.

PRIYAMWADA RAICHAND: Also known as Pihu but only to those that she feels are close to him. She is a girl that can be a total B*t*h, and then suddenly become a warm hearted woman that is every man's dream. It was hard getting around her, if she hates someone, she will hate them to guts. But, if she likes someone, she can admire them so much that they will be embarrassed from her compliments. She is a person that is straight forward and that is what makes her stand out from all others.
Now this was a sight that was just magical, just perfect. I haven't seen two strangers being so perfect in my life that too in each other's arms. But knowing one of my best friends it was kind of... awkward... he was not the type of a person that could handle such a delicate figure. He was rather rude, especially to strangers. And now! This guy was staring at the creature for what seemed like an eternity.
Just this morning he had been so restless and devastated. I had called out his name for umpteenth time and he wouldn't reply to a single word I said. I snapped my fingers in front of his face "Onu!"
His attention drifted to me and everyone else that had been sitting at the table near the corner of the cafeteria, our hang out for the past four years through happiness and sorrow. Ok, now that was a bit cheesy but that was the fact.
" I mi m sorry," he stuttered an apology.
"Its ok yaar, par I can't believe ke tumne Rudra ki aawaz bhi nahi suni!???" Pihu said teasingly as she looked at Rudra.

RUDRA SINGH RATHORE: In short sirf Rudra. Like his name, he derives from a royal family that is not only well known for their pride and reputation in India but their international textiles business keeps them known around the world. Rudra was a child with anger management problems, but these weren't where people get angry easily. On the contrary, he would get angry after hours of bugging but if he gets mad there is no stopping unless Pihu or his girlfriend Gauri doesn't come in the middle. He claims himself to be an awesome singer, which he is, but when he yells... Well, let's just say you will definitely go deaf.
GAURI RATHORE: A close family friend and childhood friend of Rudra and Pihu, she shifted to Mumbai when she was small leaving Rudra and Pihu. But once again met them in high school, after which she started dating Rudra and they have been together for the past two years now.
"Kya yaar Onu, teri wajah se mujhe iss kavwe (crow) ki aawaz suni padi," their friend claimed making an annoyed faced towards Rudra
" Oye! Khanchakar kahin ka! Tu apne aap ko samajh ta kya hai, huh? How dare you insult Rudra like that?" His girlfriend exclaimed in her very own Marathi mixed with Punjabi style.
"Yeh lo... shuru ho gaye dono...," Pihu sighed seeing the two fight like always.
" Well, what can we expect...they are... Sushant and Ankita!" Onu said kind of agreeing with Pihu

(Due to some forum rules I wasn't able to use Sushi and Ankita's real names, sorry)
SUSHANT RAJPUT: A funny, loving, cute, handsome, smart etc etc... inki jitni tariff ki jaye utni kam lagti hai because he might not be a Greek god but he certainly is a friend and a partner that every girl wants. Too bad, his already been taken by his best friend Ankita.
ANKITA SHUKLA: Sushant's best friend but over the years had developed feelings for him as well but isn't very sure of herself. The two fight but understand each other the most, even though they weren't together for a long time they have great bonding.
"Accha! Your saying like he's singing like Sonu Nigam or Shaan!" Sushant replied
"Oh pleaasseee! Save it. At least he sings better than YOU!" Ankita stuck out her tongue as she rubbed her comment in Sushant's face.
And the fight goes on.
"Tu phirse kho gya? What's the matter yaar... why you looking so lost today?" Pihu asked Onu, who was again lost looking through the window at a group of girls, actually one girl in particular.
"Nothin like tht, I was just looking at the girl over there," he pointed to a girl dressed decently in skinny jeans and dark red t-shirt. She seemed like a new comer, Pihu glanced at her and noted how simple she was looking compared to all the others. Onu turned to face her, " She reminds me of when I came to this school for the first time," he chuckled then continued, " I was so nervous and scared."
Pihu nodded in agreement. The bell rang making everyone disperse into their own classes, Pihu and Anurag walked hand in hand as they made towards their class. Lucky for Anurag since he always had Pihu in all his classes all his life which sometimes surprised a lot of people.
When they went to class the same thing had been repeated that had been going on for the past 3 years, the teacher introduced herself then proceeded with the attendance and told the class to make their way to the auditorium for an assembly.
So here we are back to where we had left off, Pihu thinking about Onu and the strange girl. Her trance of thoughts broke as the girl thanked Onu in a melodious voice. He slowly let go off her and she climbed down the steps and disappeared in the crowd. Onu turned back to talk with Pihu but there she was with a cheesy grin on her face.
"So Mr. Cool Dude, first you stock this girl in the morning and now this hindi soap opera scene," she grinned even wider making Onu only stare at her with disbelief, "Wah lag raha tha jaise DDLJ ke Raj aur Simran ko dekh rahi thi." Now the last sentence was a saracastic remark which made Onu smile.
He always loved Pihu's sarcasm which was real great entertainer for him as she said it in a way that would melt his heart or spread a smile across his face. Some people think that it's rude, but he knows that its part of who she is and he loves her that way.
"Paaahh—leeasseee. Don't get all the Romeo Juliet thing started with me, I mean she's NOT my type. AND it's only a COINCIDENCE, got it?" Onu asked, but he knew that Pihu wasn't going to let go of this easily cause a mischievous smile was still on her face. He just ignored her and dragged her down the stairs while she just laughed at his frustration with her remark.
